ADV was good during the order process and answering my shipping questions about getting them to the east coast. They delivered my 4th gen 4Runner fenders on time and undamaged. I cant speak about the fitment just yet. Still trying to get that project under way.

Any experience with Fiberwerx? The couple of times I’ve called they have answered, so that’s a plus. But what about the rest?

I’ve used every fiberglass company and will say Advanced is by far the best fitting and quality

If I’m being 100% honest, I really don’t like any of the 3rd gen stuff advanced has to offer or that’s where I would go because I’ve heard a ton of positive.

In case anyone was wondering, the beefy camburg 4x4 spindles do work with the Chaos kit. I got these a couple months ago after waiting 4+ months. You do loose the ability to run the dust shields.

I need to get my chaos kit re-powdercoated. This is the original coating from 10 years ago.

I bought my bedsides through them, they answered the phone every time, but i ordered bedsides without the "fuel door cutout" assuming that meant just smooth fender like ALL of their pics. Bedsides arrived and surprise, theres a fuel door provision. I emailed them back saying "hey, thought these weren't supposed to have that" and their response was "thats how its supposed to be".... what?! So finally after bitching about it, they took it back, cut and filled it how its supposed to be. They were NOT nice about it and insisted thats "how it comes" when on the site it clearly says OPTIONAL fuel door.

Fit and quality is pretty good, made in mexico. Did have two big chips near the taillight pop up after one session offroad.

Had same experience w/ bedsides from Fiberwerx except I asked for a fuel door and got it so no issues once I picked it up 3-4 weeks after ordering a few years ago on a Black Friday sale.

Fit was much better on one side and the other side looked like it came off a completely different truck?

That said first gen fenders from ADV weren't excellent in the grill area (door and hood lines lined up well though) but I planned on making my own mounts anyway. Newer trucks imo should have better fitment.

I wish they made a +2 like McNeil for the 2nd Gen.

We will see how it goes.. still a month out according to their lead times. I’m gonna expect 2 months..

I've used every company as well. I can second that ADV is by far the most quality glass and has the best customer service. Had no issues dealing with Fiberwerx, their front fenders were nice, but my bedsides needed some work and felt "flimsy".

Agree, took longer to drill and hang my panels than it did to trim the fiberglass on them. They came in damaged from the shipper and they gave me money back and mailed me the fiberglass repair kit to fix the crack. To me there really is no one else to even consider.

Anyone have any good videos explaining tuning bypass shocks? I’m struggling to get mine to where I want it and think a video explaining handling characteristics would help me. I’ve read quite a few articles from accutune and others. Watching a video may help though.

Channel's not specific to bypasses but informative in tuning:

Also only an single (but internal) bypass, still helpful:

Took 8 months but they finally showed up. Apparently king is having issues getting specific parts they don't machine in house. Apparently mine were sitting around 98% done, waiting on fittings.

Sounds like they need to hire an experienced machinist. Where do I submit my resume?

Came across this on facebook, pretty interesting. He said it was to stay within the rules of some race class that only allows one shock per corner but still gets bypasses. The lower "shock" is essentially just a really long rod end, the shaft doesn't slide into it. It's only there to act as a place for the coil.
