    I love this thing too.

I sort of gave it to my best friend though...Long story short, I paid for it, he drives it.

That things awesome. Brother gave mine to me..tranny was out..me and my buddy fixed it my putting it against a fence post and ramming it into first gear then starting it lol somehow worked amazing after. Sold it to my buddy when plans of a restore by us fell through, then he sold it to a guy here in town.

3.4 definitely seems to be bulletproof so far. 173,500 miles on mine and no major problems yet, just regular tuneups, ect. I would like to just rebuild mine when it dies, but I've never heard of anyone doing a rebuild on a 3.4.........probably cause all the 1st gens out there just refuse to die! No ones had to rebuild one yet!

My truck is gold. Ex. Cab with a diamond plate tool box in the back. Theres a few gold tacos around here but as far as I've seen I'm the only one with a lift.

Hey, thanks for welcoming me in. I actually found the site on my own when trying to find out some info on my truck. I've browsed here a few times as a guest so I finally decided I should just join the site!

Wow, I didnt even think to search for Toyota guys in Montana... seems like there are a few of you! I am from Lethbridge Alberta, Canada (an hour north of the US border @ Sweetgrass). There are a few of us Toyota guys in Lethbridge and we were thinking of doing a wheeling trip south of the border maybe around whitefish or something this summer. Anyone wanna meet up?!? haha

I would be down for something anyway. I may make you come a little further South for I loathe Whitefish... But other than that I would be willing to do something! And I am almost positive Lisa, Tony, and probably Mike would be too. The others may come, but you never know... with this crowd lol.

Lisa, it doesn't look like it happening, unless you get swiss to go and that way it wouldn't be a COMPLETE bust.

Oh, side note! Anyone seen an Impulse red access cab second gen with an allpro front bumper rolling around in Bozeman? It drove by as I was walking through campus and I am almost certain that I could hear the faint whistle of a turbo coming out of that exhaust pipe...

Well I mean I "know of" some ridiculous trails up north there, but I will tell you that I would never take my truck on them. Im a puss and everyone here will tell you that lol. A good day in the mountains can't be beat though.

June seemed to work pretty well last year and we had a good turnout. I'm the unofficial planner of the MT/TW meets so stay in touch!

...I will say nothing. I will just sit here quietly and mind my own business...
