I am going to press the oil imbedded bronze sleeves into the swing arms tomorrow, should I apply some anti-seize or grease on them before pressing the or leave them alone as they are oil imbedded?

edit: I am also in NH so salt ruins everything

All the Jerry cans are done and shipped or being packed. Tables are getting coated next week.

does anyone have a link where I can get plastic plugs that fit the back up sensor holes? Decided I’m not even going to bother booking my sensors up since I broke most of the clips.

When these ship, does the pallet the bumper comes on typically fit in the back of a Tacoma? Width wise at least, I’m sure it’ll extend out of the bed.

Received my dual jerry can holder last Saturday and just installed it last night. Besides installing the lid’s hardware wrong, but with the quick response from @JLee on the correct way, it came out very nice. Here is a couple of quick pics I took this morning. I will be painting the brackets black this weekend. :bananadance:

*Mounting tip: Mount them on the 2nd row of holes from the bottom on the swing outs, because you won’t be able to open the lid if you don’t. Plus it gets better ground clearance. Also don’t need to use all 4 mounting brackets to secure the holder. 2 would do the job. Just installed it because I didn’t want to loose them. You can use them to mount other accessories on the side.

    So this happened today…
I haven’t had this bumper on for two months & both rivets have gave up. (factory installed because I purchased my bumper powder coated.)

@JLee I guess I’m buying a rivet gun. Any tips to prevent it from happening again? What size rivets were used?

Mine were loose from day one. 1/4 pop rivet. Easy peasy.

You’ll find other purposes for a rivet gun. Solid tool to have in the box. 034B1C9D-7248-401D-8E1C-F1C23F7D96F1.jpg

Mine did that too. I replaced mine with screws. Those holes are threaded underneath the powder coat, but I forgot the size. @JLee would know.
