New suspension...need opinions

Hey I just bought an access cab taco and would like to lift her up about 2". Im putting on 265 70 17's. My options are as follows

eibach/5100 combo-less expenisive, not as fancy and non-adjustable

fox shox all around-big dough but would be a nasty set up

Im a little worried about the money considering the fox set up would be about 3-4 times as much as the eibach combo.

So would I be satisfied with the cheaper set up? Or should I just suck it up and spend the money for the better set up?

My driving would be 90% daily driver, 10% offroad/camping rig. Seasonal roads, lots of snow, fields, logging roads etc. no prerunning or rock crawling.

 

I would just go 5100's all around with the eibach's. Especially if you drive 90% road. For the money i believe you would be happy with the 5100's the way everyone talks about them.

I personally don't have any at the moment but that is the route i'm probably going to.

 

With 90% on-road I would go with 5100 with some OME Coils or the Eibach, as you stated. No sense throwing all that money into Fox if your not going to use them. IMO

 

Yea Im watching your thread closely. I know everyone likes the bachs but I want to know if it is worth the money for the full blown suspension.

 

I agree. Its not that I wont use them, its just tough to find spots where I live. I would search for an excuse to use it if I had to.

 

For what you'll be using your suspension for you'll be more than happy with the "cheaper" set up. The 5100's and Eibachs or OME are more than capable for wheelin.

 

Thanks man. Yea I was trying to avoid using "cheaper". Anything I do will be better than stock.

Im also not one to detect small differences. My dads always trying to set up the suspension on my road bikes and motocross bikes but I cant really tell the adjustments hes made haha
