I chose Fox because I want a more linear shock, and Icons are digressive. And, I got the front coilovers used from Norilsk.

I put some universal fit ones on my Bilstein 5160's in the rear. I mean they are no Fox 2.0 badass mamjama's but you can see what some universals fit like in this short vid.

I've only had them for just over 2 years, but yes the are still trouble free. Of course, now that I've said that... Worst case scenario they can be rebuilt, so I was safe buying from @Norilsk.

It may not have the same asthetic but the notching can be avoided by using square tube for the mounts so it's all straight or straight compound angle cuts.

So turns out Canadian English is different from the UAssOfA :oldglory:(or maybe I can’t type, I did attach image of what I wanted tho…), anyways still good price for the winch plate, let’s go with blaming Americans since it’s easier.:canada:

Got the winch plate as shown below

    FCB9001E-0CBD-40F5-8778-A61563C028F5.jpg

One piece of 3x5x40 inches of 1/4 angle iron, drill some holes that poorly align because front frame is twisted and nothing is even anymore, a bit of hammering, a bit of tack welding and measuring and bam:welder::sawzall:

Mounts via the stock 3 crash bolts on each side, then on the bottom 17mm welded nut to the frame and bolt. After that, two side brackets bolt down the frame and are holding on each side.

Next step is to add gussets, tow point and burn it in. @tacoma16 :boink:

    Thoughts and critique?

Went for a ride in the ravine after work today.
Fuck you and your 27.5, my 29ers were fine in the snow.

Was definitely fun, but I need some winter gloves.

Anyone need 4 TRD off road rims? They are wrapped in 245/75/16 nokian rotiiva AT plus E loads. Dunno how much they go for if anyone wants to enlighten me.

With some gussets and tie ins as close to the frame bolts as possible it should be sturdy. Get those Tmr gussets. Thinking 4 on the bottom and maybe some on the top?

Kijiji would suggest roughly $1000-1500 asking price depending on condition of rim, tread and TPMS sensors.

I’ve been searching for 3rd gen TRD Sport 17’s for a while, but my wallet is too tight to buy anything. I’m considering doing larger OEM calipers and rotors at my next full brake job (2-3 years away :fingerscrossed:), and they won’t fit behind 16s.

Ordered some lights, I want to be able to see on my night time snow adventures. Now that I have a switch bank to put them on, it will be shaweeeeet.

Driving light distribution for my fog area, going to replace the sad ARB fog lights with these.
Flood light distribution for my ditch lights.

    Ordered;

    2 x Rigid D-SS Pro in Driving
    2 x Ridid D-SS Pro in Flood

    4 x Amber covers.
