    The Humanity... Oh The Humanity....

I know some cats around San Leandro and Adeline in Oakland that can take care of that for ya...
They'd do it just for fun.

Easy done. T stat came from Amazon. Works good. Left switch is for all OFF. Fine controls - flame, fan, etc are at bottom of LP fire place. Thermostat just buys local area temp control and LP savings if we leave it on.

On a side note I am so excited I am about to pee my pants!

What has Pablo8 screaming like a little girl?

Dec 13, Monday, my 12'x14' Tough Shed will be thrown up on the 14'x14' concrete pad that has been waiting since September. This means, just a TON of stuff from garage and half my shop can get off the floor and into the shed.

So far working with Tough Shed has been out of this world good CS.

Plus I get to watch them build it. I suppose I could have made a shed myself, saved some $ (maybe not that much!) but here is odd thing about retirement. On one hand it might be true that one has plenty of time, but on the other hand as one ages every next minute is a larger percentage of time left on earth. I do enjoy building things, but by myself - time and hassle, too much :D

PLUS+ In the county no permit needed if under 200 sq feet

I had a custom shed built in May, I use it as my office/workshop 10x14. I should have just built it myself after re-doing two walls, and removing the roll up door to get the layout and orientation I wanted for my office and storage once all the crap was inside. Just like building a house, on paper things might look good until you start living in it.

Good luck, will you wire it or is it strictly storage?

That’s exciting! I’ll never have a shed at this house no matter how much I need one, and I need one badly. When they did the HOA bylaws, they wrote them in such a way that sheds are prohibited and to change that would take more people voting in favor than has ever even bothered to vote.

Storage. I could run power out there, just not really worth the hassle at this point just for some lighting (which ok great in the winter) - but damn I have a LOT off battery lights, thanks mainly to you guys :p:D

    HARSH.

I lived in an HOA exactly once and we still could have sheds.

;) choices man, not dogging you. If it works for you its all good. We've lived all over the country. My #1 requirement for realtor is no HOA. I wont even look at an HOA house/property.

I'd at least wire 1 overhead light and a few outlets. Then just use this on the exterior, so if need be you can run an extension cord if working on a project in there. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton...wer-Inlet-Outlet-Gray-001-05278-CWP/301304898 This is how I did mine.

Agreed but there is a chance you can have a neighbor leave a beat up car on the front lawn without the HOA. I made sure the houses in my area were nice and well kept before settling where to build it. Been great so far, neighbors seem clean so im happy. Before we moved to this area we looked at like 50 lots. Some streets were just horrible. People with junk all over their driveway or lawn...It is a gamble but with HOA at least you know the community will be clean and monitored.
