    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I know the feeling!

    Hell it was crazy every Dec at the dealership, with companies buying/ordering vehicles just for a tax write off.

    When I quit, there was still a Ram 5500 CC that had sat for a good 2 years. A company bought it as a tax write off, and as long as they got their contract dated for that year, was all they needed.

    It's literally a brand new, under 10 miles truck, just sitting at the lot.

    Completely paid for.

    It's so crazy to me they can do that and get away with it, but I'm no finance mechanic so what do I really know? All I know is, from Oct 1 to Nov 31 we sold 30 handsaws.. then on Dec 1st we sold 30 more ... contractors waiting till the last possible minute :laughing:

    My welding cap, it's still delayed.

    So I ordered black bandana's.

    For the meantime, I asked my wife if she had any cause I'm tired of shit kicking up and landing on my head.

    Rocking this bad boy today until mine arrive

    I wish it would throw a code so at least I'd know what to do, but it just won't set the monitor at all. No codes, no pending codes. We'll see after this weekend's trip.

    Going to take the rear wheels off the ground with the frame on jack stands and get my truck up to speed. If I don’t hear the squealing I guess that confirms it’s in the front end. Which is unlikely since I didn’t touch the front end.

    If I still hear it I’m ripping the transfer case out and just continuing the search for a nice low mile unit. I’m so exhausted with this whole ordeal and fully regret installing old 300K mile parts during my 4WD conversion.

    I'm currently at over 1,200 miles since the battery install.

    *sigh* damn that means I've got some more driving to do

    I've got about 2.5 weeks before I'm fucked on this (registration due)....well, I can always go get an extension on the smog check but that means having to go to the DMV. I think I'd rather pay a fine than go to the DMV out here

    Isn't the penalty only like 20 bucks?

    I say that cause I was 1 or 2 days late paying mine; mine expired Thanksgiving but I was out camping.

    At first yeah but it starts going up fast if you don't pay it quick, and at the rate I'm going with this damn monitor not being ready it may take longer than a few days after the due date to get it worked out. I know I can apply for an extension on the smog check as long as I pay the registration on time, which I will do. At least that'll give me the right paperwork to show if I get pulled over for having 2021 tags in 2022 lol.
