It's the new trend. They can be found in every car manufacturers line-up.

Dog found walking on street ‘engulfed in flames’ in DeKalb County neighborhood
    upload_2021-12-9_19-3-10.jpg

    By WSBTV.com News Staff
DECATUR, Ga. — DeKalb County police are asking for the public’s help to find the person who set a dog on fire.

Police said a tan-and-cream Labradoodle was found on Lindsey Drive in Decatur “engulfed in flames” Sunday morning.

Now, DeKalb County police are looking for the person responsible for this unthinkable act of animal cruelty.

Channel 2′s Christian Jennings talked to dozens of people who live along Lindsey Drive, who all said the same thing: “Who would do this?”

Police are hoping a Crime Stoppers reward will lead to an arrest.

“It’s sickening honestly,” neighbor Shallissa Dufresne said. “That’s disheartening honestly that anyone could do that to a living, breathing thing.”

Dekalb county police say witnesses rushed to help the dog when they spotted him running down the road, engulfed in flames.

“The world we live in is cruel,” neighbor Paige Reid said.

A local nonprofit called Dog Days Rescue is caring for the dog.

They posted this photo on their Facebook page Thursday saying the pain medication seem to be doing its job.

The organization is accepting donations to help pay for his treatment.

“You can’t just harm these animals. They’re like humans,” Reid said.

Dekalb county police say they’ve identified the dog’s owner and are continuing their investigation into who abused the dog.

Neighbors hope an arrest is made quickly.

“You had the intent to harm or kill this defenseless animal, so now you need to get the time or punishment coming to you,” Dufresne said.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $2,000. People can submit information to Det. Watson at 404-286-7990 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS.

The rescue group posted that the dog’s treatment will be a long and painful process. It could cost at least $5,000.

    Donations can be made to:

    PayPal: @dogdaysrescue@gmail.com

    Venmo: @dog-days-rescue

    Cashapp: $ddpr

New research shows most cats are psychopaths, but cat owners already knew that

Researchers at the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University recently conducted a survey among cat owners to see how, well, psychotic their cats are, and the answer was: very.

The results of the study, which was published in the December issue of the Journal of Research in Personality, show that most cats fall on the psychopath spectrum based on a checklist of behaviors.

Researchers asked 549 cat owners if their pets vocalize loudly for no reason, run around without reason or act guilty after misbehavior. In addition, researchers also took into account the cat's friendliness towards humans and other pets.

Those cats who checked all three? Psychos.

The study said the questions are used to measure levels of boldness, meanness and disinhibition, which are three traits often used to assess psychopathy in humans.

You ever watch a house cat catch a mouse and put it out of it's misery right away? Me neither?

True story, my cat is a straight up serial killer. Fucker catches rabbits, mice, rats, birds, lizards, snakes, you name it. That bastard brings them back into the yard and lays there watching them try to limp away, when they get a bit too far for his comfort, he bites them and brings them back to his spot to watch it all over again. He did that with a rabbit for an hour one time, my wife made me go out and shoot the fucking thing, ever heard a rabbit squeal? They do when they are being tortured by a psycho cat.

Cats of all kinds are natural born killers. I had a black cat as a kid that killed rabbits and left them on the porch. He would tear their chest open and eat the heart. Definitely a psycho. The cat we have now likes to push things off of counters and watch them fall. She also enjoys hunting my youngest daughter. She knows when bedtime is and lays in wait for her to come through the house and attack her. No claws or teeth but it’s funny just waiting. My youngest is a teenager. Lol

Hell no. My cat is awesome. He is just like me, he hates people. My wife and I are the only people that he tolerates and let pet him. When company comes over he goes to our bedroom or runs out the door. HATES people, doesnt get on counters or push shit off shelves or anything. He just likes to kill shit and eat the bellies out. :notsure:

    Yeah.
Someone's pet rabbit got loose and got into my yard once. My Basenji got ahold of it at 3:00 AM. Sounded like a baby screaming, awful noise. Went out to see WTF was going on, and he was sitting there with his chest puffed out all proud, no blood, clean kill. Sorry to whoever lost a pet that night.

Im not opposed to killing a feral cat thats causing trouble for domestic cat. But house cats "playing" with their prey is what they do. Im sure feral cats do the same, you just dont see it typically.

    Speaking of rabbits...

About 1 month ago 2 rabbits were left in a cage on our street corner... being kind hearted people we took them in and made arrangements for them to stay. There was no rabbit food or watering bottle in the cage, just some bedding and two hotdogs. :annoyed:

As of Sunday night we now have at least 10 rabbits, hopefully the female can't get pregnant just after giving birth or when pregnant; we separated the male and female but they can still touch and see each other.

Everyone knows they're only for decoration. But the scoops on that 4Runner had no effort put into the design.
