1st engine problem with the truck today. On my way to get windshield replaced, idle surging, died at stoplight. Throttle body problem??? Canceled my glass install and returned home. Opened hood and observed oil catch can had spun itself off causing massive vacuum leak. Screwed catch can back on and reset MIL codes. All good now. I don't think that I can categorize this as an engine malfunction.

Hakkas installed. They feel good on dry pavement. The low rolling resistance is noticeable. MPG experiment has begun.
    20211219_093928.jpg 20211219_093938.jpg 20211219_093840.jpg 13.5MPG at the time of install.

15.5MPG average through winter, not too bad

Mastercraft Courser CTX 9K review: 9000 tough miles, lots of high speed highway miles and a good amount of sidewall rippin' rock and mountain roads. Wear is even, balance held well, they still look new. I think these are pretty good tires20211219_112304.jpg

20211125_095412.jpg Yaris report: 204k tree fell on her, had to replace headlight assembly and a bunch of bumper clips. Reform some bumper cover support, added a couple of fender washers at broken plastic.
Airbag, window switch, seat rail and clock spring recall complete.
    Replace spark plugs.
    She's ready for another 100k

Damn! I got butterflies in my stomach just watching that!

I don't get why people need to rush in conditions like that. Personally, I'll take late over in a ditch any day.
