For that price, I'd imagine you could probably buy a totally new truck.

Should be able to get a new one for less than that. I bought a brand new 2010 TRD Sport 4x4 V-6 6 speed Double Cab short box for 24,500 out the door.

I just paid that for an '09. It was the TRD OR with towing package. New on the lot they are listing for 35 in iowa. I'm not sure where you guys are getting these deals but they aren't around me. kbb for mine listed 31,500 and nada was 29,000.

One good thing about Toyotas good trade in value .. I live in PA and my dad is a car dealer .. He see this all the time with taco he just sold one 09 Tacoma sport dble cab with 17,000k on it. 26,899 ?? It's funny peopel buy them used when u can go buy a new one for about 30,000 .. Toyota dealers will deal with ya just have to go in with head up high and tell them how it is and 85% the time you will almost hey what you want :)

You should be able to get that truck for $4000 less than invoice on a similarly equipped new one. Offer 26,000. Edmunds has the trade at $22,400 which is reasonable for a 2 year old truck. There is no way they would offer more than $24K Actual cash Value on a trade for an 09.

I would not offer anymore than $26,000, If they don't take it, you should be able to buy a new one for less than 30K

KBB has retail at the Market value for a NEW ONE!!!!!

Bottomline is buy a new one if you are prepared to spend $28K and I am a huge advocate of buying used. but not at that price....you are saving nothing!!!

Honestly if i had know i could get a brand new one for under 30 with every option available, i would have got a new one.

When kbb and nada showed my truck for 29k to 31k, i thought 28k was a good deal.
