How hard was it to get the old ones off? I'm not sure I want to put the same thing back on, but really would like to get that uncleanable stuff taken off. Really stands out on these white trucks.

Took seconds, but my truck is a few months old And I just had to lift a corner with my nail and grab and pull. Not sure if they would be as flexible and easy to “peel” if they have been on the vehicle longer.

I mean the rigid plastic cover that goes over the foil you Installed. I've seen some people leave it out to create more space back there.

    And then TandemGeek says this:
"After thinking about it for a couple days, my OCD tendencies kicked-in and drove the decision to pass on the BedStep. Despite being a good idea, well-designed and practical -- albeit it a bit pricey for was it is -- I decided to pass as I couldn't get past the optics of the truck's rear profile having an asymetric-look with just the left-rear corner having the folded-up step with nothing to off-set or balance it on the right-rear corner. Not even the tailpipe behind the right-rear tire and mudflap gave it the right balance. Oh, the curse of being too darn anal retentive with OCD and a few other issues."

I sure hope he never notices that there's only one steering wheel! ...and that it's not in the middle! lol

Plug looks okay but I would love to see a picture of the final bumper install. :fingerscrossed:

Wired up the ditch spots. Came out nice.
Amazon lights, wire harness, hood mounts, switch box (x6) and cabin switch. I am not on a budget but thought it would be fun to see how cheap I can get a set to go. Turns out nice bright lights and a cool set up for under 100 bucks thank you very much lol.
(Edit: yeah I know I still gotta clean up the wires under the hood but it’s freaking cold out. )

This is a cleaner path to take with the wires.

I just got some of Amazon that came with my interior kit(BRISHINE White LED Interior Light Kit for Toyota Tacoma 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Super Bright 6000K Interior LED Bulbs Package + License Plate Lights and Install Tool), so far no issues. Once you get the tag lights...
