Great looking truck, if Toyota sold one like this it would probably do very very well!

Nice truck Stocklocker, looks plenty capable to do what probably 80% of people on here do. Tastefully done and will probably hold it’s resale, appeal and daily drivability better than most of these over the top Broverlanders do.

I would like he OEM Leds. Don’t enable me!

Generally, in the short term, I switched gears to helping my daughter modify her 2013 5sp MT Corolla CE. Her first car and super a cool ride. In need of cool wheels and new tires. Gonna help her out with that.

I have a 2017, so no sensor. No interference with the pro grille.

Very nicely done! I would imagine your needs will change in time for other upgrades...for now, your truck looks great!

As for me...2021 Black TRD Sport. Add-ons include: side step runners, splash guards, black chrome exhaust tip, and the gas shocks for the hood.

My wife was a bit annoyed with additional items such as t-shirts from TacomaBeast, license plate frame, and lanyard.

I won't reveal too much about the upgrades I will be saving for...

    Again, your truck looks great!

Excellent!!! But don't kid yourself, you're never DONE! You may be in a lower-effort mod search mode. But Taco builders are never done.

Nice rig OP!!! Exact look I'm going for. I just ordered the Toyota version of those rims with some 275/70/17 Wildpeaks on hold ready to install. I have almost the same lift with 5100s and an AAL. Just curious, you have any rubbing and how bad do you feel the extra tire weight?

    Thanks for the compliment!

I don’t experience any rubbing, even off-road, so no issues there. I don’t run wheel spacers and have kept my factory mudflaps. Maybe my alignment is perfectly dialed? I have heard the Wildpeaks are a little larger than the K02s, but I would guess, if your keep the 7” wide Toyota TRD wheels, any rubbing will be extremely minor, and likely only in very specific situations, and not worth worrying about,.

You do notice the weight of the tires. The biggest change for me was braking. You feel the centrifical momentum of the tires. However, I got used to it and it doesn’t bother me any more.

Really nice looking truck man. Don't know how I missed this thread. I will probably be back in a Tacoma one of these days!

Solid truck. Job well done. Sure there will be little things here and there but I am the same as you, past a certain point it gets to be about what I want and possibly what I can do with it vs. what I actually use and will do with it.

Best laid plans of mice and men and all...

Honestly, every time I get rims and tires I just can't help but wonder if I should have just kept stock rims and gone slightly bigger on the tires. Well, this taco I already have a lift going on, 285's and 5.29's.... so I guess I effed that plan up, lol. So much for keeping it simple.

Yeah. Good insights. It does pass a point of what is required for capability, and what is just cool. Both are valid if cost is no object.

I know I know. The big tires always call my name as they rumble by. Must resist….

Nice looking rig! I kind of went the same direction on mine...wanting to keep it at least somewhat "civilized" but still capable and able to serve my purposes. The RLD canopy in black may have gone a bit to the "utilitarian" side of things, but I love it, and color matched would have been 6 months minimum out, and I had a trip coming up. Some day this one may get some color matching.

Nice bumper, winch, light combo. :D

l think once I get Deavers on the rear, UCA's, and sliders (and possibly some rims) I'll be largely done.
