I ended up buying a different set on Amazon just a few minutes ago. My LED tag lights were flickering so I put the OEM halogen lights back in and the passenger light burned out and about 20 minutes later the drivers side burned out too. :annoyed:

Here is the link to the lights I just bought

I first read that as LED license plate. We have them in California and I've seen a couple.

Sounds like DMV awarded the contract to https://reviver.com/
So if you want to spend $900-$1000 and be locked into a 48 month contract... The $1k option will track your mileage, have valet mode and vehicle locator. Oh and there is $150 base cost to install for the 12v wired option.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure for around $130, you could do the entire floor and roof. The kilmatz cover a lot, i was surprised how little I used.

Yea, liberal Cali and its "discouraging" gas prices. Thank god I got the KD Tune @TWTaco and now the Taco loves it some 87 all day long. Fill-up today was $4.99/gal for 87 ($80 for 3/4 of a tank). Welcome to the Bay! hahaha

The place that did the install on my UpTop Alpha rack skipped over the part about putting together the handles so I knocked that out tonight. I watched their video and @ClassyTacos video. You couldn’t be more right about those damn safety wires fraying on you!

Got mine used for $320 with only 10 miles on it. Cut it after the axle and welded on the TRD tip again.20211208_152319.jpg

Yea, no. I had the oem JBL sub back there, unfortunately, not only does the oem box not work with any decent 8" aftermarket sub, the entire panel makes up the box, so if you take the sub out, you have to remove the panels too. I wasn't about to spend $500+ on the non-jbl plastic back panels just to have to spend another $800 for the custom box that fits in the passenger storage compartment side.

So, I bought this http://www.ground-shaker.com/index....acoma-double-cab-2005-2018&Itemid=104&lang=en and it takes up all the space that was left open after the panels were removed. Carpeting on the box matches the trucks carpet, all i need to do now is trim the top portion of the plastic panels to cover the brace along the lower rear window.

I'll post a pic as soon as I can get one snapped.

I realized I forgot to do this last night so I did a quick couple pics tonight. It would be better if my neighbor turned off his front lights so it was completely dark, since the iPhone automatically adjusts the shutter making the difference harder to see. It would have helped if I got the same angle too.

How hard was it getting it tucked up in there? I'm upgrading soon and the stock will be way to small. I've heard of guys just going postal on the frame rails with a sledge hammer to get a 33"+ tire in there. I'm trying to get as close to a 34" spare in (285/75 17), that will be my new tire size once I get them installed.

What worked for me was wacking the guide tabs a bit and then relocating the spare tire hoist. Remove spare tire, use 12mm ratchet wrench and take off 4 bolts. Make 2 new holes towards the towing hitch and use 2 of the existing ones. I had to do this since M/Ts are typically taller than A/Ts so I was rubbing my diff slightly.
