Day n night difference man. On road it feels much more planted and body roll is almost non existent. I can actually take turns without slowing down lmao. I haven’t tested it in the dirt yet but I plan on wheeling tomorrow since my durobumps just came in

I tried those. Then tried Corbeau Baja XRS and finally had them ship me Trailcat version of Corbeau. How do you like your Sports? I had issue with the headrests. Didn't like how low they were and fact that they did not support my head.

Gotta take off more than that. It had city (Beatty, NV) lights in view too. By far, not one of the best we've had. But it was a convenient meet up spot.

I like mine, but the headrests are too far back, I had to add a neck pillow to my seat. Their headrest tilt mechanism seems pretty crappy too, at least on the sports. They use a pair of plastic bushings to hold tension to keep the headrest angle, and on my seats they've already cracked and gotten chewed up.

I like the comfort of the seats, and getting in is not too bad - I use my step bars. Yeah, headrests aren't particularly functional, even pulled all the way forward.

Transfer cases. I need a new (used, since they are discontinued) one. Anyway, I was looking them up and it appears that there are *many* variants. A few things that seem to affect part numbers/fitment.

    Obvious:
    • J-Shift (or not) - obviously.
Understandable I suppose, but seems a little strange:
    • 4-cyl vs v6
    • AT vs MT
    What? why?
    • ABS (or not)
    • ADD (or not)
    • Rear Diff Lock
So, does this mean I have to find a donor out of a v6, j-shift, M/T, w/ABS, w/ADD, w/Diff Lock? If so, sure narrowed the field... :annoyed: Know anyone who would know for certain and could tell me the differences/modifiability between the various cases? (i.e. can I use the sensors on my existing t-case with one that doesn't have said sensor... or something?)

Anyone have a lead on one, preferably in excellent condition and low miles? Or know someone who might? Tag them, please.

Mostly I'm curious about the differences so that I can be sure yours works (or can work). I'm still all about yours (assuming it works) and shipping doesn't kill me. I don't really want to drive for it... obviously, hahaha.

Any idea about miles on yours? And it's in reasonable shape?

No clue. Got it from @BossFoss. Not sure if he knows. It looks good. Never taken it apart or used it so can't say otherwise. If Brett knows the miles and its less than 150k I'd say its good.

But yeah would think it would work. But Im sure you can find one much closer too haha

@04Pre_Runner might have some insight, he's been doing a lot of research on t-cases for his truck trying to find the right one/good one.

I’m visiting some family for the weekend. But I have some thoughts and opinions after researching a replacement for my 04 with a 4WD conversion. Just need a real keyboard.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Today was a blast! @Fernando @Don5352 @2BeersPlease @Speedo @CrashN'Burn @silvertep @K_Sandhu @waldeeeeen

Looked like a great turn out for the Toy Drive

We headed up the hill and regrouped at Stumpy Meadows.

Then a few of us headed up even further...

@Fernando got a bit out of shape

But he redeemed himself with some hammer down action.

Finally, we made it to a nice spot at Loon Lake, Gateway to the Rubicon Trail.

Jen and I stopped back in to Georgetown to stay at a little historic bed and breakfast.
