Just posted this video comparing our 2021 Toyota Tacoma to the New Ford Bronco.

We dig into interesting differences in ground clearance, engines Tacoma 3.5L V6 vs Bronco 2.7L Ecoboost, transfer cases, axles, width, suspension and much more…

What do you guys think of the new Bronco?

Thanks for the video. We need more of those. Especially when they compare apples to oranges.

I'm a Ford fan. I have a 4X4 F150 crew cab in the driveway alongside the Tacoma. When Ford 1st announced they were bringing the Bronco back I was interested. But now that I've gotten to see some in person and have seen some youtube video of them I'm less enthused. I need a truck anyway so I'd have to choose a Tacoma. If I wanted a capable off road SUV I still think the Wrangler is better.

I don't think about Broncos at all. I think new cars in general are turning to shit.
Stoked to have a Tacoma without all the nanny features and a real key.

While it looks nice I'd rather have a 4runner.

I have a 4Runner. That would have been a better comparison.

kudos to ford for coming out with a more serious offroader like the bronco. lord knows Chevy can't figure it out.

As for comparison, not sure why anyone would compare apples and oranges, but hey whatever floats your boat.

I would say it's safe to assume we buy Toyotas for there reliability, long standing track record as being low cost to own and maintain and we buy Ford because we don't know any better. Apples and oranges really.

My brother has an awd Ford Escape, 2007 I believe, and it’s one of 10 consecutive model years in which the T case will most certainly go bad by 120,000 miles regardless of completed scheduled maintenance. He recently had to buy new T case and have someone install it even though he replaced the T case oil at the appropriate intervals... When he took it to Ford, “Yeah it’s common, just something that happens,” how in the fudge does a company allow this shit to go on for a decade?
