Toyota remote start shuts off the engine when you open the door, right? It would be better to go aftermarket for that reason alone, despite all the reliability risks therein.

It's my understanding that the shutoff after autostart is baked into truck and there is no way around it and third party remote starters work the same way.

 

Not only is it running but I was able to haul a bit of wood with it too.

the gusset second on the left is too close to the hole for the winch……can’t even space shit out properly. Thank god your engineering skills are only being applied to bumpers and not explosive gasses or anything
