WOW. i just read all of this thread word for word and some of your members are rite, there is a lot of clutter on this site. i guess i consider myself a new member. I like to come to the site and just brouse, im a picture whore and like to see what other tacoma owners do to their rides. By the way you all have some sweet tacos and some great ideas too. one of the things that turns me off though is the lack of response sometimes. ive put a couple of posts up and have got either 1 or no responses. that is sometimes nerveracking. you've got a problem, people read it and no one tries to point you in the right direction. i posted a problem with a serp belt squeeling like hell, it got 1 response. you mean to tell me that the 2% of you tacoma geeks, and im not being mean or condecending in any way, couldnt give me a reply. 2% from what ive red in this thread, is alot of people. i would love to get my member status up as well. i guess all i have to do is just reply to some of these silly threads 100 times a day and ill get up there. well did i stir the pot enough..........

    Well, you stirred my pot!:p
I try and answer questions that I have some sort of knowledge about. And then if I don't, I will point out the obvious that someone will be on shortly that might be of assistance. I'm sorry you didn't get the response you were looking for. So, to answer your question about the serpentine belt. Use belt dressing or replace it. I had to do that on my new 96 S-10. Oh, and welcome to TacomaWorld. Join in on the fun and post useless comments, like the rest of us do...:D

I like this site better than the "other" sites, so I post useless nonsense all night while I'm at work.

    and your first post
Hey Hoop! You've only asked one question in all these months. Back in April I was in high gear getting the boat ready for the water and a bit behind posting. I would have suggested trying some belt dressing on that S belt which you apparently tried and it didn't help. My next suggestion would have been to talk to the service manager about it (which was also suggested). So my posts would have just been redundent....

My 06 only has 21K on it right now but I'd like to know if you still have a problem with that noisy belt or what you did to fix it. :pccoffee:

Edit: I'll correct myself. You've asked two questions now

Hey, don't leave me out! Actually I enjoy it on here and everyone is cool.
I like to hop on here all the time and browse around, occasionally post something stupid and meaningless. Look like a complete fool and have fun doing it!
So uh, Foxy, you single??

I am not sure of how I feel to be included in the exclusive 2% club. Not sure how much of an honor it is to be associated with such intelectuals.
