No,im getting old. wasnt dragging that damn 2man stand up there by myself,it was in the saddle at the bottom.

Got stared down by this doe, but didn’t bust me. She walked away calm as can be and started feeding lol. Saw five doe and a button buck. Also an otter feed on a frog behind me.

ILL update. Damn it! he let a close to 130” walk this evening. probably right move if he wasnt sure. didnt want to pay the fine if it was mid 120’s. good thing it wasnt me or id been back at camp sucking down yellow labels looking at it hanging in the shed. LOL

Killed quite a few bucks here . It right at the top of a drainage and gets a little steep behind me and slowly goes up in elevation in front . Right between 2 nasty thorny thick bedding areas .

 

That's awesome. Things in nature we see while hunting is a huge part of why I like it. Squirrels getting up in the morning and headed out of their nest for the days foraging or maybe building another nest, a hawk a owl, one of my hunts this season a little bluebird landed on a branch so close I could have reach out and touch it.

 

Season is done here, but I agree when I was sitting here a while back...

 

Well rifle season is done . Black powder and archery is back open for around 10 days . This now means I can get the Xbow back out if I want . But what I really need to do is put cameras back out to catch my neighbor over the hill trespassing in my hunting area with his muzzle loader . He is a two faced lying POS and I can’t wait to get him on camera . He loves to come over the hill and try and push deer out of the thick bedding cover that I rifle hunt . Guy is around 40 with the IQ of a 2 year old

Seen this guy 2 times during bow season. Got a few pictures but nothing close, until Dec 10th. He stood in front of the front of the camera for 11 pictures. It's like he's laughing at me. Little does he know, we still have late season bow.

Good Morning Deer hunting friends. im headed to the mountain to hunt. son’s best friend snuck up and put a camera for me at the new stand spot. said the bench under the ridge that you watch from it had a ton of does bedded on it so to be careful going in last ILL up date on my son. on his way home. saw tons of deer. was very satisfied. saw 10 bucks yesterday alone. and on the way out after dark they saw a true stud in a food plot he watched Friday. have a good day
oh and his bud called me. shot on the ridge or flat im good with, after that its a deep hollow the even they have trouble getting them out. he said not to let a good one walk because of that. they will come out and help, cause you have to take it down the hollow to the road. no coming back up the ridge, way too steep. nice to have good youngins like that
