Nah. I can't imagine that'll be ready until February. Maybe even March. Billy seems busy as all hell.

 

Found a snowman when I stopped for lunch the other day.

A group of buddies and I will be heading to uncle toms cabin this Sunday. Meeting at 6049 front st Georgetown at 9 and taking off at 9:30. Anyone is welcome to join

 

Quick day trip to Sawmill/Bowman Lake, snow season has officially started.

Went to bowman last week but didn’t get any snow

 

If this is for the toy drive I thought it was Saturday.

I’ll see you there if you meant Saturday. I’m in a Cement long bed 3rd gen with sliders.

 

We didn’t know that was going on but we’re going Sunday. Never been there can you let me know how it is?

 

Yeah, it is a paved road and there is no snow at that low of elevation so not really a wheeling trip this year. I’ll post some photos Sat evening though.

 

Supposedly there was 4-5inches

 

Oh, last I checked the snow map showed none, but now it shows 1-2 inches.

This has been pretty accurate in my past experience. I’ll see today if it holds true.

 

I have a buddy that’s there right now and it definitely looks more than 1-2

 

No snow on the road to Uncle Toms Cabin, but it is supposed to snow tomorrow so it could get interesting.

Some guys went all the way to Loon Lake and found some snow.

It tried to snow at my house this morning. We are at 3,000 feet off of Highway 50. It stopped fairly quick, but that means we have great potential for some really deep stuff on the summits and the trails!

 

The torrential downpour didn’t happen here either. In fact, radar shows we should be getting rain but just big clouds so far.

 

Have ya all been following the weather forecasts? You want snow? There’s a major storm system coming in to the valley and mountains today through Wednesday. They are expecting an atmospheric river tonight through all day Monday. 6 or more feet snow expected at Truckee and the mountain passes. No doubt tomorrow highway’s 50, 80 and 88 will be closed for a time. Most unplowed dirt roads and trails will be impassable above 4000’ or so.

This last Sunday pretty fun with some fresh powder
