Audio skipping 3rd gen

Hey everyone,
My audio skips every few minutes, super quick, maybe 1 second drop of audio and then it continues, I'd like to say it's somewhat random time wise, but it's always the same quick stoppage. I have a 2021 offroad, I just went to the dealer for an undercoating 3 days ago, and they updated the audio system, but it's still happening, they couldn't recreate it, probably just didn't listen to it long enough. It happens on bluetooth or connected via cable. If I remember correctly it happens on xm radio too, I don't know about regular stations since I haven't listened to any.

My '21 TRD OR AC does the same when listening to AM radio.
I find it annoying as heck but not enough to chase after a fix that the dealer probably can't find.

 

Mine does it. Usually because it’s going in and out of HD radio. Never bothers me really as I don’t listen to the radio but a few times a year

 

I have found the HU on the 21 OR to do a lot of other annoying things. It’s super glitchy and I’ve had to pair my phone a few times since the programmed contacts always gets removed. I have a list of complaints about it but I’ll just replace the whole system probably next year.

 

Have yet to have an issue with my Samsung S9+ pairing with my Taco's head unit. Paired once and has continued to work for almost a year.

Mine has exhibited the same glitching of the audio. Also the head unit restarting habitually. Also had problems with the microphone not functioning when using hands-free. The dealer said they reprogrammed the head unit last time I had it in for service and I haven’t had any issues since then but I expect it to happen again in the future. The head unit seems to be the worst part of my truck.

 

I have the same issue when listening to Spotify, only when plugged in to the truck. If just BT it does not happen.

 

I'll try some other options and report back, glad I'm not the only one, I really don't like the head unit either, but I'd rather spend money on other mods at the moment

 

Running into the same problem with my '20 OR that I just bought. I've been listening to spotify using a cable and Android Auto. It really ruins the flow when jamming out to Infected Mushroom stuck in stop and go traffic.
