Does anyone have any recs on an OWB holster? I don't think I'll ever CC the 19x(this will more than likely be a house/range/maybe camping gun), so no need for IWB. Although, I do kinda like this one

Amazon.com : FDO Industries -Formerly Fierce Defender- IWB Kydex Holster Compatible with Glock 19 23 32 w/PL Mini 2 - +1 Series w/Claw -Made in USA- (Flat Dark Earth) : Sports & Outdoors

And found this on ETSY with easy charging

For OWB I like the Safarilands, T Rex Arms, and the Dara holsters...

I'm pretty sure Dara has it, they have a lot of config options.

Looked at a Glock 48 today and was very interested.

Anyone have one and happy/unhappy with it?

Absolutely love mine but I have always wished the capacity was more and I fixed that this week with a visit to JB's shop for an upgrade 15 round magazine by shield arms.....

    I carry a S&W Shield w/ a 7rd mag for summer CCW use. So a 10rd 48 or 43 is fine with me.

I have both the 43x and 48. I just put in to be notified when a 43x and 48 MOS comes back in as I will change out the mag release and run the Shield Arms 15rd mags in those and keep the regular 43x/48 stock.

I have one with Ameriglo sights and a TLR-6 and it has pretty much become my go-to. I only carry the G19 these days if I know I'm going to a rough area.

Are you planning to upgrade your mag release? I see a lot of people recommend putting a metal one in if using the all metal 15 round mags.

Your going to need a steel mag release. I had the gen 1 mag and mag release after awhile the mag release loss some material. When I was at the range the magazine would drop after firing a round. I had to switch back to stock mag and release and sold the mags.

I had one for a short while I wasn’t a fan of it even though I love the 43x. The extra slide length and it being slimmer than a 19 wasn’t comfortable carrying plus I shot the 43x just as accurate.
    If you’re set on a 48 get a 43x add a threaded barrel and Suarez street comp it’ll be 48 length.

The main issue I have with summer CCW pistols is grip length. I’ll have to play with the two models again this weekend at the store.

Grips are the same on the 43x and 48 the 43 has the shorter grip. The 26 is nice also but kinda chunky.

To add, if summer grip is an issue for TRD-Troll, he can always do a P80 Kit or stipple. I run a stock grip 43x in the summer or a P80 43 when it's too hot and they have been good.

Biggest issue for me is that it's either 7 rounds or 16 rounds. So easy to choose.

Edit: Keep in mind that 43, 43x, and 48 slides are essentially the same and interchangeable. If you want to keep that RMR and run a smaller frame, just move the slide to your 43.

The p80 idea didn’t occur to me but will it fit a 43/43x holster ?

That's a hard one to say. Some P80 kits do not fit holsters due to the trigger guard, but that can be remedied by a light or some time in the oven. If you like leather, that should be alright.
