Am I only one that ArmorAlls the wheel wells?

70 today in Tx so wash, waxed and armor alled the wheel wells and
Mud flaps, any one else that anal or should I see someone about it

 

I don't use armor all but I do the same thing when I wash it

 

I do it too,but theres 2ft of snow here and the roads are all slushy, it will be some time before tha AmorAll comes out.

 

I do it to my Firebird, but not to my Taco. It's surprising how much different it makes the vehicle look. Creates a nice finish.

 

Are you really using ArmorAll or is just a generic term for you. I stopped using that crap 20 years ago. Tire foam is the way to go. Looks much better and doesn't turn your tires brown. It's ok for the interior though (so I do have some available).

i do clean and spitshine my wheelwells but i use a different industrial strength product. but the mud n dirt from offraoding is still kinda showing, even after powerwashing it. "Zena Shine" products. the best.

I dont use armoall but use the stuff called F2 made by turtle wax. Less greasy and has good UV protection. I use it on all the plastic and rubber stuff. Even on the door seals. It keeps them from sticking in the cold winter or freezing and they dont come apart in the heat of the summer.

 

That's good stuff too.

Armour all is garbage for interior use. Aerospace 303 is your golden ticket. Anything that sees sun, I highly recommend this product.

I wonder how pam spray would work, I've known guys at work who have used it at work for special applications where things stick and said it worked great.

 

I DO IT TO ALL MY TRUCKS AND CARS WHEN I DETAIL CARS WE DO THE SAME THING BUT WE USE A OIL BASE SO IT DOESNT COME OFF WITH WATER AND LAST LONGER BUT GIVES IT A MUCH CLEANER AND BETTER LOOKING RIDE

I actually use Pam on my dirtbike fenders works great for muddy tracks

 

Tough for me to wash with current weather, but I normally use westley's bleche white with scrub brush on inner fenders, then spray everything with meguires tire foam.
