Nothing to it but for it I guess finally cleaned the garage enough after moving to my house to put the truck in it now I can start taking things apart to do all of the mods that have been sitting in garage and storage for the past year 20211211_171822.jpg

Wow, that before pic is something else hahaha looks WAY better. SDHQ terminals and some split loom to cover that colored wiring along the firewall and it would really be money.

Hahahah yeah it has been like that for too long. I wasn’t about to throw that battery in with it looking like that. I’ve been eying the SDHQ terminals and am about to pull the trigger after I do my rear shock relocate.

The split loom is an awesome idea, I appreciate the idea.

Installed a relentless fab tail gate panel. I'm in my bed a lot and kneeling on the stock tailgate panel was getting old, nothing some steel can't fix!

Did the same thing. The wait is forever but long wait for quality product is fair.

I know MESO makes good stuff. I had the ultimate maps, dome, mirror signals and gashole in my 2016. The cheap one's fine in the 2008.

Just put in a new Flowmaster FlowFX exhuast, it sounds great and isn't obnoxiously loud! Looking forward to taking my Taco to the cars and coffee finale in my area!

What did I do to my 2nd gen? I sold it about a month ago and bought a 3rd gen.

I immediately regretted it haha. Please take me back, baby.

When I bought my new 2016 Sport I held onto my 2008 SR5 Prerunner, with 59k miles, for about a month. I finally sold it. Then I had 6 months of warranty and recall stuff done to the 3rd gen. Got all the bugs worked out of it. Then started doing all the mods. Around 1 year later had another recall and another transmission flash. Then I really started missing my 2nd gen. Next was a recall for potential frame perforation. Then another transmission flash. Finally, after 5.5 years and 25k miles I sold the 3rd gen. Jumped on a great deal on a 2012 SR5 Prerunner. Spent a month doing all the maintenance, like fluid flushes, tune up, new coolant, hoses, belt, Clazzios, nerfs, wheels, tool box, speakers, etc.. Then I found a killer deal on a 2008 Off Road Prerunner with 83k miles so I jumped on it. So started again with Clazzios, speakers, wheels, tool box, speakers, etc.. Sold the 2012 to my son so it is still here. Not once have I said, or thought, that I miss my 3rd gen. My 3rd gen was paid off in 24 months but after 36 months I was over it although I kept it for 2.5 more years. Back in a 2nd gen with zero regrets.
