Oof. If I didn't have AA I'd be looking at replacing that garbage no matter the cost with OEM or an aftermarket head unit. $1,000 is pretty steep though.

Yea man… it is eventually coming, but I am going to figure out my suspension, wheels, tires, subwoofers, tonneau, and maybe even bumpers first. I will get AA, but it’s wayyyyyy down the priority list for me haha

Spent an hour or so trying to troubleshoot why my bed lights aren't working. couldn't find any obvious loose/broken connections. pulled the ground and cleaned it and the frame around it. followed my wire from the lights to the battery as best as I could, couldn't find any breaks. gonna step back and think about it before I just go and pull everything out. Not the best way so spend time with my taco.

In the cubby behind the passenger side rear seat. They fit surprisingly well there. If I need one or more I can just drop the seat and grab one to reinstall it.

The kit from SDHQ comes complete with a new crimp connector for the main ground wire. You will need the SDHQ body ground wire (https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/05...-6ga-negative-battery-to-body-16-ground-cable) or you can build one yourself. I had one from a previous project with the correct diameter connections, all be it just a little bit long.

The process is a 2 beer project (only because I really like beer).

Gave it a good hand wash and waxed it by hand with Griots 3-1 to try and correct some scratches and swirl marks from previous owner. Looks quite a bit better but still needs work.20211212_155440.jpg

Installed the @CourseMotorsports wireless mount along with some @MESO customs products.

Wanted to video it to try and start YouTubing. It’s a lot harder than I thought. @ClassyTacos any advice on not having awkward silence while installing?

Ok, enough about cruise control and hating your TSS.

    back to what “happened” today!

well, this for starters. No more prop rod and it holds the hood open an extra 5-6 inches. You can see the diff in the first two pics.
