Did that little trip myself earlier this year, it's nice during the right time of year, otherwise you end up with coastal greyness and rain. Maybe skip Portland though, it's really not nice anymore unless you wanna just check out OMSI

So I might be picking up a new bed from someone I found on Facebook. Is this a 2 man job to lift/load the bed into the back of my Tundra? Or any tips ?

Two people can lift and move the bed. You probably have to place it lengthwise across tundra though I wouldn't recommend trying to put it in the bed I think I'll just focus weight from the wheel well bumps and bend something

I need to figure out how to make the 2UJFE fan shroud a two-piece unit.

The one thing that I miss about the VH45DE is being able to pull the shroud while leaving the fan mounted. Get the shroud out of the way.

It was bad, with all the homeless people there, but I would go just to take the wife to say...the original Spaghetti Factory, and to say she's been.

It'll be one of those "passing through" things cause yeah, no one goes to Portland anymore :bananadead:

My dome lights stopped working shortly after I got the truck so that's not an issue. I'm more afraid of accidentally force clearing the code system on my scangauge every time I check it, which would restart the whole monitors process

Check out Astoria, it's on the coast and looks pretty cool. You can visit the goonies house. It's on the list for a road trip Monica and I are planning.

Do you want a dome light? I think I have one with no lens you can have.

I'd be nervous to mess with any thing electrical till it passes smog.

The light works but only if I turn it on manually. If I put it on the open door mode it won't come on with the door open. Might be a switch issue

If replacing the assembly would fix it then I'll take you up on that, I can swap over my lens for it

Probably that new kit, yeah. I heard in the thread on here that they were one of the first to get it

Now that I think about it they were talking about the 50 something page instructions from Marlin. It looked nice and if it holds up in the next episode it will be good as long as they actually make it and ship it out to folks.

Yeah that's been the problem lol. Tons of delays and people in the thread were getting pissed. Seems like they started sending them out though. I know a few on here are running it

I even went to their shop in person and they had a sign stating to call or visit their site; no in-person anything whatsoever.

Yeah they have a unique way of doing business that's for sure. Seems to get them by though despite all the frustration it causes

I live in Central Oregon and am visiting Westport WA for the weekend. Spent a bunch of time in Westport over the last few years tuna fishing. Can confirm that the coast can be rain/gray or beautiful. We got lucky with the weather over the last few days. Doggos had fun...

Had to come through Portland on my way here. Portland has to be one of the biggest shit holes on the west coast and contender for biggest shit hole in the US. Would avoid at all costs...

Went twice over 2 years ago; going through Portland is the reason why someone would go there, intentionally, anyway

Pic above is an old one of me backpacking through Tillamook; I freaking love that place.

    Beautiful pups btw
