Thanks. I think I like the OR Coast over the WA Coast more, especially the Tillamook, Pacific and Lincoln City areas.

It's almost an extra hour for me to go around Portland on my travels up north from Central OR, but I do it almost every time. I prefer taking more time to avoid Portland. I hate it that much.

It's been the downfall for many hobby related shops. How many surf and skate shops went under back in the day cause the employee's wanted to surf and skate more than they wanted to work.

I honestly miss those days; taking our mini-dv recorder/cams and shooting videos we'd turn in from our skate sessions.

Their boards shared the same symmetrical platform of say, a Blind, Santa Cruz or Toy Machine type board.

Always found Element boards to be awkward with their wide nose and narrow tail; made fakie tricks easy but not running switch.

I spent my early youth in Santa Cruz, I know kids wear the sweatshirts ironically now but I've still got my lanyards and vinyls from the 90s and 00s displayed proudly haha.

Yeah I was meaning to ask about that; I remember your decal on your LC and I thought..."no way"

My friends and I were mainly street skaters, hitting gaps, stairs and the sort. I wasn't so much into vert but Denis the Menace park in Monterey had a nice skate park.

Did you surf or skate? Or both?

I skated some, but not anymore. I'd like to have knee function in my 40s

I have a final worth 30% of my grade tomorrow… probably shoulda stayed in Logan and studied for it, but I didn’t.

Gonna try and read 30 lectures worth of PowerPoints tonight and send it tomorrow.

Basically an Occupational Safety Person class. We just went over a bunch of different hazards often found in different industries.

if it was multiple choice I wouldnt study but this professor likes short answer questions, which are greeeaaaat.

Hazards, occupational safety....starting to sound like you're getting your OSHA cert done.

    OSHA10 at least.

I thought about getting a minor in Public Health, which is basically the degree most college educated safety people major in.

but it’d probably be an extra semester I don’t wanna do it.
