Still have my original Samsung headphones from my galaxy s6. Never had a set of headphones last that long in my life. And I used them damn near everyday. Truly impressed. Every time I plug them in I’m hoping they give out so I can finally have some closure. I’m not used to having a product last that long. Planned obsolescence ya know

You’re lucky you caught it. Covid pretty much eradicated the flu last year. I think there was like 5 cases world wide. You should feel special right now

You’re just a prime target for rare disease aren’t you?
I seen the west Nile thread. Still get chills thinking about that. How’s that going anyway? Last I remember you were still working on walking again?

Im walking (not running yet) but more or less my life has gone back to normal.... but... I have constant leg pain and bone pain, but otherwise im good. I think a big part that helped me out was finding a hobby I could do to stay in shape that didnt require my legs as much. Kayaking really fit that, I get enough leg work pulling the kayak to and from the lakes, then the rest of the time is all upper body.

So my wife’s work got ripped through with flu. They have 10 of 22 people out last week. I think we skated. I had a little low back pain but kept checking for fever and didn’t have one I got vaccinated for flu in October. Who knows what the fuck all of this means. Maybe Lord Fauci will tell me. I feel 100% now drinking with dinner and bring on that bourbon.

I asked my wife to find out what the vaccination status of our coworkers was. She gets the impression that most of them do not get a flu shot. I’m hoping this year’s vaccine is a good match I don’t want the flu again. I realize the last time I had it why people die from a fever.

Not enough people traveling to Africa. At least that’s what the doctor told me when I asked why flu cases were so low.

But now we have a whole variant from afric that made its way around the world in a week

    Dude
I fell in love with them in welding school
I was nuking skull candy NICE headphones like every two weeks because they were drawing the metal out of the air and wrecking the magnet

Swapped to the buds + and man
    Best sound
    Best phone calls
    People can hear me
And I can work out in them
And I got the pros when they came out cause why not?
    Worth it
    Thoroughly impressed
Only drawback is it’s not compatible with the phone app yet so I can’t fine tune the audio like I can with the +

Have you looked into microdosing mushrooms?
I tried it for brain stuff
And it helped a ton with the nerve damage I feel from rebuilds and surgery crap

I've been told about it, but never tried. My neighbors keep trying to get me to try edibles for the pain.

I've macrodosed more then a few times. Does that count?

In all seriousness I hope that microdosing helped you. Our understanding on how psilocybin can rework neural pathways is still very limited. What isn't limited is that it does and it outperforms every known man-made chemical in doing so. Micheal Pollans book How To Change Your Mind is a must read if you haven't already. It goes into the historical research on mushrooms as well as his own personal experiences with them. Highly recommended.

Eventually mushrooms and other “natural” herbs and spices will finally be recognized for their superior healing and pain management. It’s already starting to gain traction. I see edibles advertised on instagram a lot recently

    Take his offer
    It’s worth it
I was a no drugs kid from birth all the way til I left the military and the pain I was dealing with was incapacitating and I didn’t want to be another statistic of opioid death in the military

so I started with vape weed, then edibles and real grass and it helped a ton and it continues to help, but about 8 months ago a friend gave me a 30 day supply of microdosing mushrooms and I genuinely let it sit around in my drawer until 6 months ago I was having the worst migraine of my life and I had already vommitted the soul out of my body, so I was looking for any relief I could find in my house that still let me wake up in the morning and I grabbed the microdose bottle and took 2

15 minutes later my head was legitimately fine and I was ready for sleep

been a huge help to me in a ton of other pain areas but by far it has made the largest impact in my health

You’ll probably benefit most from a cbd variety. The regular ones do nothing for my significant others bone spur pain.
