Not right now, how soon do you need it?

 

Google Maps - I can visit the old neighborhood in Jersey without physically going there.

 

I don't need one but @turbodb needs a j shift for a manual v6 truck.

 

I'm thinking about cutting it in 1/2 midway up and making some type of fastener or channel to keep it together after I reinstall it. I wonder how the Tundra shroud works?

 

Like the 1st gen tacos. Shroud has little tabs that stick out that a metal clip fastens the lower removable part to the rest of the shroud with

 

I'm curious about the "how soon do you need it?" part of this response .

How soon might you have one? And pray tell, are you known as mr. t-case?

 

He’s just the part out guy… I’ve got 4 t cases laying around. But they’re all for autos.

 

How are they different? I've heard that for v6, AT/MT is the same t-case... though, I've also heard the opposite.

 

I think the only different one is the 4cyl auto case, those are typically forward shift.

 

I honestly am not sure. It may be a 4 cylinder vs 6 thing. I have a bad habit of nabbing them out of trucks sitting in the junkyard out here. But they’re always v6 autos

 

How does one break a transfer case

 

Diligent and regular use

Gotcha. Are all yours spoken for? I know folks give you a hard time for your Tacoma collection...

I'm looking for v6, j-shift, w/Diff Lock, w/ADD, w/ABS (not sure ABS matters). Ideally MT for direct replacement, but if they are the same... (which no one really knows for certain)
