Why don't you just tilt them forward?

    1) Didn't realize that I could before I removed them. Silly mistake in retrospect.
    2) Haven't needed to reinstall them since so I haven't felt like finding out if tilting them forward is enough of a difference for me.

Whenever I have a need to reinstall one or more of them I'll give it a shot and find out.

I'm very much wanting to do this to my '19 pro. I dont have much experience with the new oem led lights though. Do these units produce a cropped beam of light similar to a projector?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You might ask @crashnburn80 He's our forum expert on lighting. I'll try and get some night pictures of the headlights and fogs tomorrow and then I'll post them. I know several were interested in seeing the output of the ss3 max's with the oem led's.

Also, here's the OEM headlight mega thread if you're interested. There's a few recent pictures scattered about from others who've installed them.

Saw that @bluelinetaco responded, but this kit from Spiker Engineering is solid too. Mostly done with the prep work for install, will finish it and post some photos tomorrow.

I like that one! Wish I would have found it first. I like the reverse mounting of the tube. Only thing, looks like you need to drill holes in the bottom of the hood to mount it, the one I found requires no additional drilling. Both kits are about the same price. Nice Find though @pnwtacoma_ post those pics, curious to see how it looks in non stock photos.

Ya they are flexible panels. I wasn’t going to compromise the sell on the I camper so after a lot of research I went with 3m double sided tape under the panels then edge sealed with gorilla exterior waterproof tape. Was going to run a flex seal but after seeing it heated in an oven then trying to peel it, hard pass on destroying my tent. Happy with the outcome. Just waiting on the Y connection to run the panels in parallel since it’s to much power to run them in series

Ha, thanks for thinking about me. I'm learning as I go along here and I have a ton to learn. As for the awkward silence, sometimes it's only awkward to you the creator as the folks watching are concentrating on the actions, like what your hands are doing or where that piece went. This is especially true for how to videos. An option you have is to speed up any long sections of silence and then during editing you can voice over. You could also play some music, just make it low and somewhat calming. Most people complain about loud ass music in videos. It will take some time to get used to the flow, where to cut the videos and how to smoothly connect all the raw footage. Just be yourself and film it. The more content you create the better you will become at it. Like I said I have a lot to learn. I never thought filing and editing would be so difficult. I have a little more respect for the folks that do it real well.
