my M12 hammer drill on the drill lowest setting will stall the motor if I hold the chuck, or driving something with very little resistance. Have you tried screw into soft wood on a lower speed, higher clutch setting? The brushless motor and the Milwaukee electrical limits act differently than other tool manufacturers to protect the batteries from over draw and then failure… in my understanding of them. That’s why they flash the OL or battery lights to let you know it’s too high a current draw. 526052AC-8E9F-4F04-98A7-0BACE0A5BBBE.jpg2EA643CC-8AAD-4D14-BF1B-CC99C20DAE8F.jpg

It’s not driving them in? So just ran 3 in. On 2 on either high or low speed it ran it in fine but wouldn’t sink the head, on 4 it ran it all the way in no problem. I don’t usually use it for driving screws though.

No, as in its overdriving them. I hardly ever do woodworking though, so it might just take me a while to get used to the weird electronic "clutch" vs the style that clicks on my old Craftsman

Oh. I’ve never used it for that type of thing. I use my impact driver for running screws in.

You could take it in and have them see if something is broken, you might be out the tool for a week or two.

F****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: One of my relatively new 8ah XC batteries shit the bed. Push the 'Check' button, nothing. Put in on the charge and it flashes red/green. Measures 20v across the battery terminals, but seems for all intents and purposes, dead.

If memory serves when you buy one of the 3/8 ratchets it includes a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter.

Those should have a 3 year warranty and from what I hear the warranty process is pretty painless. I would hit up their website and figure out how to submit a claim.

And I should probably read all the comments before telling you something you already figured out!
