Unplug a single wire on the land cruiser and you get AWD low, I've used it. It's pointless

 

of course it's pointless. haha but you can do it so that matters right?

 

I kinda worry about it stressing the viscous center diff actually since you can force a tight turn on dry surfaces with a ton of torque. I dunno if the baby multi mode in a runner had a viscous center though so maybe it's a moot point.

It is disturbing that there are so many lengths on these. The one I have looks like it is about 3/4" longer than yours.

Looks pretty much the same as the actuator in mine. But I have a second sensor on it.

Also i think its just the angle of the photo. The bolt heads are the same on bretts and yours at like 9''ish

 

It's off an auto.

I took that pic at a weird angle, think they might be the same length. Actuator is different though.

Saw you were looking for a new air box. I think I've heard decent things about EBay ones. As in non OEM.

Looks good, think we decided we need to find something just a bit bigger like a land cruiser or sequoia for the kiddo. Kind of crammed in the 4 door 2nd Gen taco with a carseat and I don't think a 3rd Gen 4runner backseat is any more spacious.

I see you listed it for no reserve. What are you expecting to get for it there?

 

We will have to wait and see what the market days. I feel I can make back what I have in it plus a bit more.

 

No reserve is definitely the way to go, generates more interest.

 

I noticed that there is another T4R on there right now. An '00. No reserve on it either. Current bid is $4750. I think yours is more appealing even though it is 2 years and 40 some K older.

If anyone has any leads on a W59 please let me know. I can't figure out the vibration I'm getting and I'm leaning towards that since it's leaking at the sandwich plate. It gets louder with speed and follows wheel speed if that makes sense. Front diff is cool to the touch and 4x4 doesn't change it one bit.

My best guess is a bearing on the output shaft is bad but thats not where it's leaking.
