That's worth waiting for I think. I don't envy the position you're in to get through emissions. Do you have to go on the dyno still or is it just OBDII

No dyno thankfully, only <2000 years have to get dynoed. Just obdII and visual check. Usually takes 5 min and I'm done

Have her ditch the sway bar, tell her it's a TW approved mod

Ah okay, up until emissions testing was removed in WA they made you dyno everything below 1996 and everything else just got an emissions check through OBDII. I'm glad they removed the testing altogether, it was a losing battle for the state to maintain.

No the sway bar is tight all the way around... I didn't swap bushings in the trailing arms (the ones that hold the hub to the frame?) When I jack it up those are tight as well but the only thing I haven't changed

Yeah the dyno/sniff test is some BS I'm glad I don't have to put up with. Failing due to your exhaust gas readout even with no codes would suck to deal with.

Yeah, TBH the LC had to be tested when I first got it and I have zero idea how it passed. It very obviously runs quite rich and the cats at that point were 24 years old, no spring chickens. I sorta worked backwards on that one though, I have since gotten it running less rich and even put a CARB certified cat from a 94 Supra on it and now it only smells on startup.

Loud clutch from the rear show show itself as something obvious on those. Jack it up and wiggle the wheels, etc. make sure end links are tight tight and installed the right direction

I feel like you'd be short even if you said you're 5'12", it only becomes real if you've got a 6 there.
