    Ground to fender: 39”
    Hub to fender: 23.5”

    Rear: 940 shocks, 110R, AAL
    Ground to fender: 40”
    Hub to fender: 24.5”

    2020 TRD OR DCSB with the following additional weight: Prinsu roof rack, Roam awning, CBI overland bars, Smittybilt tent, RCI sliders, and some light shit bolted to the rack (axe, shovel, recovery boards). No bumpers or winch yet.

    Tires: 255/85/16 Yokohama Geolandar G003 M/T on stock 2020 TRD Off-road wheels

    Loving my 255/80/17s. Great clearance and great gas mileage. Still getting 17.5 MPG combined.

    What am I doing wrong? I went to a 235/85/16 Cooper ST Maxx and I went from 20.5 to 17mpg. I am still only using the computer on the truck for MPG so I may need to check my mileage between fill ups and see if it is accurate.

    Well this is what I do.
    I read the dash display which gets 16.4. Then I calculate using how much it take gas to fill the tank to 1 click. This calculates to close the computer the display. Then I take an add 5% to the MPG, since the tires are 5% slower than than stock. Which gets me close to 17.5.

    Ok, I will get on the wheel/tire calculator and figure out the percentage. I went from 245/75/16's to 235/85/16's so it should be different. Thanks for the help.

    What tire was the 245/75?
    235/85/16 ST Maxx is 51 lbs with a pretty aggressive tread.
    For comparison same size AT3 LT is 43 lbs.

    Quick search puts them at about 31 lbs per tire. So you added 4x 20 lbs of rotational mass and more rolling resistance with aggressive tread. Plus your fuel calculation (and speedometer) is probably a bit off because of the 4% increase in diameter.

    With which tires?

    Honestly with these skinny tires I just want ones that get the best MPG (Counter intuitive for E rated 33's) and do the best in Snow/Ice (Counter intuitive for skinny mud terrains) stiffness who cares, noise who cares!

    Any input is awesome
