thanks...Ian is my hero!! I saw MT back in 1981 as a ripe old 7th grader and have been Straight Edge ever since!!! Also got to see and meet him and Amy Farina when The Evens came through town years ago.

The whole DCxHC scene was awesome...them, Bad Brains; SOA; Teen Idles; Government issue...shhort, fast and loud baby!!

sadly, i never got to see Fugazi

and I have always been the Black Sheep so that little guy has been my spirit animal ever since I can remember!!

Sweet! Yep, there were some great bands that emerged from the whole DC Hardcore/Punk Scene.

Having said that...I can play the beginning of Long Division lol. That song is amazing and I love how all the instruments come together. Steady Diet of Nothing was one of my favorite Fugazi albums.

Used to love Minor threat and Bad Brains. Fugazi is good stuff too. Got a few cassettes and vinyls of them.

Exactly. You're paying for that wood case which if you gigged with would be toast. Looks sweet though. I'm gonna build a little cigar box amp like that. I got a few tiny amp PCBs lying around that need to get used.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Reminds me of the old vintage Marantz Receivers and Preamps. Those wood cases and blue lights were dope!

my current crossover/thrash band covers Out of Step; Straight Edge and Guilty of Being White every once in a while

I love all of the original Fugazi stuff, but to be honest, The Argument is probably my most favorite album by them

Guilty of being white. Man, been playing that lately. Don't even need to say why.

Steppin Stone. Love how it builds. That's the song that got me hooked. It was on a 411 skate video. Learned about a lot of bands on those back on the 90s. Was always great when I found a new video to take home.

Good guys don't wear white also a fav.

Fugazi blew me away when I first heard it. Always remember picking it up at record stores, mostly because of the name and wondering WTF it was. I appreciate it now more that I am older now though.

I got this instrumental album they did on cassette. Think it was a soundtrack to a documentary. It's great to play when I am programming now.

Nut files and slot gauges ordered. Something I have always wanted to learn to do. Those damn files were expensive.

    Nice! Love the LP too.

I need to practice more standing and playing. I get lazy and find myself sitting much of the time.

Me too. I get them all over the place wherever I find deals. Ebay and Reverb I have found some great used tools. I bought the light set of files. Assuming I can make them work by filing left or right to make them wider since there is a pretty small margin of .01" or so between. Probably will keep a look out for deals on the other sizes I need.
