I'd say condition is somewhere around 8/10. I think the price was fair. Definitely stoked! Snagged it off a guy selling his 03 Xtracab in lunar mist. His truck happens to be a 5 speed with a supercharger like mine!! Funny how it worked out. I'm going to pick it up in a couple weeks.

    This is kinda genius.

80 trips is goddamn impressive. Though the 35-37" on Mojave road isn't tooo bad. We hit over the hood and the wake went halfway up my windshield in a pond crossing in NH that scared the shit out of me. Water was coming through the seal in the firewall where the steering column goes through.

[IMG]Untitled by Michael Halat, on Flickr

You can see where the water hit on the windshield where the AC was making it fog.

This one was the first one we hit that was about a foot less deep:

Here's a little more of a sneak peek. I was hoping to be a little further along by now but I've been a bit under the weather the last few days

I'm finishing up a timing belt install and noticed the power steering pulley has done in and out play. Can anyone confirm the bearing for the 5vz pump is 90363-17013?

that looks like an All Pro front bumper, that pic would have been great for the "Deer" proof bumper thread a few days ago.

Love the All Pro front. I read a lot of ppl saying the fitment was terrible, but mine was great. There was 1 frontward facing bolt hole that I took the die grinder to slightly.

Unfortunately now 2 of my weld nuts boxed in the frame have broken free… found out when I tried to remove it last month to drain my coolant.. guess I’ll be cutting and welding when I’m back from the desert…

I'm hoping it will go on without a fight. I did notice one of the mounting brackets/tabs was bent right out of the box but it straightened right out with a dead blow hammer (admittedly maybe easier than I would want)

    IMG_20211211_161146.jpg

(not the tab with the tag but the one to the right or what is effectively the bottom mounting bracket that's meets up with the bumper valance)

yeah IMO the mounting plate and winch plate should be 1/4'' minimum. But I guess the pro to it being 3/16" is that it'll probably bend before the frame does and not the other way around.

Taco New Wheels edit.jpg Found some 3rd gen wheels with nearly new 265/70/R16 Bf Goodrich All Terrain K02 tires. Wheels are nearly flawless and the set up fits (barely) on my 97 Taco. There is about 1" clearance on the upper control arms.
I think it looks a lot better and ironically, now the speedo is actually reading bang on. The speedo was always 10% high with the 235/75/R15s.

Yes. IFS, Transmission, and gas tank
    IMG_20211210_144524.jpg

I didn't have any of the stock skids except for the gas tank, but even that is rusted through in a few spots.
I was planning on holding off on the bumper for another year or so but wanted to get the skids sooner and wanted to make sure they would all be compatible. Decided to buy once and cry once and I'm already rocking All Pro UCA's and leaf springs so I don't even need extra stickers haha
