Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

    I like it! How does the approach angle look on the skid? That’s pretty much exactly how I intend on doing mine as well.

    It’s as tucked up as I could make it. Right to the crossmember. I’ll try to get a better picture, but I welded the tubes in and made a removable center tube. The skid can be easily replaced since it’s flat and bolts on.

    no i mean beefing up your aftermarket fiberglass bedsides, the bed shell is plenty string to bolt directly through. check out my build thread there are pics of what we did

    This shows it a little better. Center tube bolts through the crossmembers and can be removed to get to stuff.

    For those who are running the LCA pivot kit on stock arms…did you have excessive play with the bigger bolt in the front bushing? I got some 3rd gen arms with barely any miles to swap in so the bolts fit (I have a 2nd gen) and when mocking stuff up the front bolt has more play inside the bushing sleeve than I’m comfortable with.

    as far as I know this also happened to @FlyinRyan893

    He said he picked up 3rd gen arms for this reason.

    Not anymore. All kits use the same size bolts/bushings as the 3rd gen now. Though the only difference is the rear lca bushing/bolt size which is just a hair bigger.

    +4, just remember, it requires a lot more labor to make it work with the fenders and such

    For what it’s worth, I was on the 2.25 train. Then the more I thought about it the more I realized that 3.5” more wasn’t going to make or break where I can go in my area. The +4 is going to be damn close to what one tons would run for width.

    I’m not sure what else is going to be required to clear tires and whatnot. I guess that’s something I figure out when it goes on.

    By no means pushing you to go 4”. But there’s definitely a whole lot to consider before deciding.
