We always called the clips that hold the window crank on Jesus clips. When you finally get them off you yell "Jesus!"

That is for people who actually remember crank windows... o_O

Worst I had was I got a tree branch to the eye and scratched my cornea. Healed back up over time.
Oh had a chunk of grinder cutoff wheel in my eye once, but it was under the lid, not embedded. Bounced under my safety glasses.

One guy i worked with had a cotter pin extractor to the eye...hit the white part but didnt lose it.

Another guy used to be my supervisor was strapping down something and bungee cord hook hit him in the eye. Basically blind in that eye.

Heard about this...construction worker was walking around and there was a pile of stuff with piece of rebar sticking out. He impailled his eye....pulls back and its hanging off the rebar...pulls it off the rebar and sticks it in his shirt pocket...wife washes his clothes and she finds the eyeball!!!:eek:o_O:annoyed:

When I was in college, my chemistry professor told us a story about how a guy was walking through home depot and turned and the little tag on the end of a board paper cut his eye.

I was at a farm equipment auction once and a guy impaled his eye on a sickle mower blade on the bar sticking up. Ambulance came and picked him up. It was awful.

Daughter got pecked in the eye by one of her hens. It wasn’t the first time optometrist saw it. Working in fire rescue and hospitals I have seen a lot of eye injuries.
