I'll believe it when I see it but it does sound cool.

 

There are additives for gas already...we used to put them in our crf 50's and ride around smelling like a damn fruit basket. I was always partial to cherry.

 

If you google Cella Energy, several articles come up relating to this.

 

really on the 4 strokes, we always put the scented premix oil in the 65ss

 

What i used, IIRC had a warning about using it in vehicles with a catalytic converter. Never checked for some that were catalytic converter safe.

Probably one of those fuels that require more energy to produce than the heating value in the fuel itself. $1.50/gal may look good now, but remember that dino gasoline costs $3/gal due to market speculation on crude and heavy excise taxes. Three years ago, average US gas price was $1.60/gal according to http://gasbuddy.com/gb_retail_price_chart.aspx Realistic drilling and refining costs for gasoline is probably less than $1/gal. I guarantee you that whatever magic fuel that ends up replacing gasoline will also be heavily taxed by all levels of government, because they are dependent on it for revenue.

 

That's awesome. Turns out there's a fair amount of truth to it. Too bad Big Oil will buy up the technology, and shelve it.
