Looks really nice, keeping the general beloved shape of the Tacoma with the new nice looks parts of the new Tundra. That FJ cruiser thing next to it also looks sweet. I think an EV or hybrid Tacoma would sell like crazy in the US. I would consider trading it for an EV if the resell prices are still insane in a few years and granted that the new gen Tacoma isn't 60K plus.....

Quite the lineup from the company who previously alluded to never going full electric, only hybrid / hydrogen.

The CT is just too futuristic design wise for the current time. EV truck first time buyers need to ease into the EV truck evolution design wise. I just trust Toyota engineering over Tesla engineering.

Looks great, and as mentioned I would like to know the range. Current EV ranges on the trucks isn't enough for me to purchase. 400 range would be minimum, but would like to see above 600. I know it will def get there, but we aren't there yet

Nice, the all new Toyota Rivoma.

My guess is by the time Rivian and the like are up to any decent volume, Toyota will have the production version of this concept coming to market. That will be very interesting.

If the Toyota EV truck is $20k to $30k cheaper than Rivian, while backed by the manufacturer that sets the benchmark in automotive QA/QC and supply chain management, EV startups are going to be running into to tough competition.

I'll be planning my solar installation while waiting for these vehicles to get a few years of production under their belt.

I see this preview Tacoma still has leaf springs in the rear. Was wondering if they were going the Tundra route. Hope it isn't rear drum brakes also...

Honestly really digging the look. The front end kind of looks like a fusion of the 2nd gen's bumper and 3rd gen's headlights and grill.

Supposedly the new global Hilux, but shares no design ques from the Hilux and almost everything from the Tacoma.

Looks more like a lower trailing link bar than stacked leaf springs. Hmmm time will tell. EV motors with leaf springs just don't make sense Though conversions have been done but with solid rear axles.

You might be right, I looked at some other pictures and it does look to be a trailing link bar.
