What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Makes me want to check mine. Seems to be dimmer than when I installed

 

Maybe. They spin very easily I barely touched it and it spun.

 

The dome bulb is free spinning almost. I can see where it might rotate some on really bumpy roads.

 

Went out and removed my rear head rests. Didn't realize they blocked the view until I read it here.

 

Kind of like how you never notice how loud the cord is on wired earbuds until somebody mentions how loud the cord is on wired earbuds and then you have to go buy wireless earbuds.

What have I done for my 3rd Gen Tacoma today you ask?

Well hopefully this explains what I've done today (as it pretty sums up my week so far )

 

I got busy with some work stuff, then a two week trip out west, and truck prep for the trip. I was 1000+ posts behind and decided to not even try. So I'm back to 'noob" status with this thread.

The first two have an amber turn signal built into them. The 3rd is red. Kinda wanna see these in person.

 

If you're going aftermarket tails and don't mind waiting I'd spend an extra $200 and get the ones from Meso. He's in partnership with Morimoto on them so you'd be pretty safe on quality, and he stands behind his stuff. Alpharex quality has been known to be hit and miss.

Well it's just a representation of how my week has gone so far. Worked a 16 hr day yesterday. Got told I had to cover on Saturday. So why not?

Just not my week starting out it seems.

 

Well I currently have their other tail lights with no issues (so far).

I was on the fence about the @MESO tail lights. But ultimately decided against it. I think they look sharp, just I cannot justify the price. And I'm sure it's a great product.

As the old saying goes: different strokes for different folks.

 

Oh man sounds like my week too.. It seems to be always around the holidays too. Right now I feel like I can't ever do enough for some of my family, and they never seem grateful and yet I'm the only one that steps up to help. Oh well I have a Coin sorter from Tacos4cheap waiting for me at home. something nice for Cement Taco always makes things better.

 

Why the change, if you don't mind me asking? I was just looking at this unit last week. (also...I might be interested in buying this from you)
