The tire tech didn't mention any and I haven't had any vibrations taking them up to 70mph. Took a look at the wheels, three have one small weight and one has a two small ones.

They ride great so far. No issues. I went with the SL rating. Had them on the trail this weekend with no issues. I’m 90% on pavement and not towing, which is why I went with SL

OEM trd beadlocks. I live in a town with terrible roads though so I am sure that is contributing to it.

Not a Atx but AT2s 20k on them and they have been flawless. Wear well, quiet, balances and good tracking in snow,, ice and rain. Dirt and rock, gravel are great. Mud performance just like bfg at, they are not mud tires.
Count me as won over to-general and continental.

This thread was also the deciding factor for me in choosing these tires. My criteria were exactly the same as the OP's and I was about to pull the trigger on the Firestone Destination XT's before reading this. I've only driven about 100 miles on them but the ride is great so far. They're inflated to 38 and will most likely deflate a bit to see how that feels. Looks like we're set to get some snow tonight here in CO and am looking forward to see how the Grabbers perform. Road trip to Cali this weekend will be another good test

Awesome! I've got mine at 32 and pleased with their handling, seem to grip a little better in the wet as well than the higher PSI's.

I'm at 75k miles now and we are getting down there.. but for science going to run to the end.

How frequently have you been rotating them to get 75k out of them?

To be honest I did a bad job on rotating this set. Which is surprising for how well they've aged.
I need to go throw my calipers on them just to mark the record here.

Very interested to know how much tread you have left after 75K. Impressive

I'm trying to talk my buddy into that exact combo, he's moving to Idaho and needs a snow tire set. If he goes this route I'll keep this thread updated.

After 30k on my E rated 275 70 17 , I have to say I would 100% buy these tires next time. I haul my camper up crazy steep Jeep trails and it amazes me how they just grip. Mojave trail no problem! Death Valley sliced deep into the tread, but still was good for another month of trails getting home. I’ve been hammering around in the snow for the last few days in the PNW and they preformed really well.

Had them in the deep snow both on and off road after a storm this weekend. Worked great could handle a fair bit in 2WD alone.

Not the best when you're on ice and it's -25 but that's to be expected.

OK here they are at 77k. Right on the wear bars.
Despite my very poor rotation schedule on this set of tires, look at how well the front vs the backs wore.

I might push to 80k just because, but it's getting time. Wet road traction isn't great at this point.

Very Impressive! I had AT2s on my Subaru I took off road and they were really amazing on there. I am getting new tires soon and going up to 285/75 16 and I am happy to get back on some Generals. Thanks for all the info on this thread and making it an easy decision.

Same experience with the grabber AT2's when i had them on my tundra. In deep snow they were awesome, not so much on ice, or in mud. They lasted 40k miles on the tundra. Only other issue with these tires they would never balance 100%...at some speed you'd develop a tire shake.
