If you want to see it rain really hard come out to Tennessee , that's a real rainstorm , downpour!!

 

I know it rains harder elsewhere, but the area is just not built for it here

 

The area over in the national park is classified as some kind of rainforest

 

I know this is trivial for many, but it only does this at my house every 4 - 5 years. Northern California is currently getting slammed by mega-storm, the Lake Tahoe area ski resorts are forecast to get 80" - 100"+ over the next couple days.

 

Same here that much snow would cause a panic schools close every loaf of bread and gallon of milk would sell out. And now that we have plows they scrape all the reflectors off the road.

 

I’m sure the sixth one will be the charm. Do they do this everywhere the ditch will be full of them after every snow.

Seeing that you're in Eldorado County reminds me of Placerville Calif and Chili bar on the American River . My parents used to take my brother and I camping there in the 1960's . We used to have alot of fun there especially going to Coloma or even up to Lake Tahoe

I am just outside the "town" or El Dorado, actually.

Ands if I recall correctly, you recently moved from either Victorville or Hesperia. My dad grew up in Yermo, and after he retired in the early 90's, he bought 5 acres off of Ghost Town Rd, between Yermo & Barstow,, and built a house. My parents lived there for several years, they are both buried in Barstow Cemetery now. I was stationed at Ft. Irwin from 1986 - 88, though my folks were still living in Los Angeles at that time.
