Speaking of rear sets, I have one for an xr50/crf50 or z50 collecting dust. Anyone looking for the same?

Tried to start the pink 1986 PW50 and it wouldn’t start. Turned over a couple times but couldn’t get it running. Guess I will finally order a new carb and throttle cable for it. 2012 fired right up. :annoyed:

Wow, what a difference actual gear makes! Took advantage of the 60 degree weather and went out on a quick ride to test out my new jacket and gloves, before work. When you have an actual jacket and not a hoodie, cant feel any wind and feel much safer! Plus pockets @spencermarkd . But carrying 2 redbulls in the "cell phone" pockets is a bit bulky. Need to get some soft panniers next.

I guess i can see how you guys ride in 40 degree weather with actual riding pants. And this time im wearing some wool socks, and my feet are warm. Noted for the future. I guess the moto socks I got are better in the summer.

EDIT: also reinforces how much better riding in 60 > 40 degrees is.

It was 23 degrees on my ride home yesterday. That was getting a bit chilly. Snow today so I didn't ride in.

Glad you're finally understanding that cold weather doesn't mean the end of riding season though. No bad weather, just bad gear (except large amounts of snow...) :bikewheelie:

its surprising how much of a difference appropriate gear makes, as I've recently learned.

All summer/fall I was riding in my textile jacket, and I didn't notice windchill until a few weeks ago. went halfsies with my gf on a birthday present to myself, a wind/waterproof jacket and man does it keep me cozy on the ride.

Now I just need my "winter" gloves to ship.

before anyone says it...yeah my winter won't be nearly as cold as the rest of you lol.

Whenever its colder than 60, im always thinking about the tires. I get that they warm up, but still a majority of my thoughts when riding. Dont want to slide out. I probably wont ride in the snow or under 50, but good to know that i could. The bike is still not my primary mode of transportation, but its so fun.
The gloves i got, Moose Racing ADV1 in size L, i cant decide if they are too small or big. The fingers, palm and wrist fit great, but the knuckle protector isn't sitting on my knuckles. Today my hands definitely got warm. Im glad they still breath. Definitely no wind chill on these. Ill be keeping my old Revit gloves too.
