In other news, my landlord has decided that the holidays/winter is the perfect time to cancel our contracts and give us an ultimatum: new 12 month contracts at a 20% higher rate, or GTFO

He claims increased cost of upkeep and taxes are the reason. Motherfucker hasn't fixed dick around here in 5 years. Haven't had heat or ac for a year (been pretty mild, plus window unit and ceramic floor heaters are nice) and we've got leaking/barely working appliances.

Anyways, looks like a winter move is in the works. Truck stuff might either be put on hold, (or accelerated to turn it into a mobile home lol)

 

Just like the county! Winter/Holidays is the perfect time to stick people with a huge tax bill.

 

I mean end of the calendar year is when most places do their property taxes but still...
