I was just skimming through the thread, but I swear I saw something out of the corner of my eye that led me to believe somebody was placing above market limit orders.

 

I typically place a buy limit order a little below market price if I want to buy that moment and usually fills - hate paying sticker price on trucks and stocks lol. I do remember once placing a buy limit order a few cents over market when the stock was increasing fast and I didn’t want to overpay at an unknown market price. I’m relatively new at this so it’s fun to experiment. Haven’t tried the “what’s the most I could potentially pay” $10 over market price buy limit yet though might be fun lol

 

His wording on his post indicated he was buying by virtue of omitting "sell"...
Generally when someone says "I have a limit order at $xx it implies a buy..."
So as an avid user of the interwebs I could not resist trolling

So me and the boys went to the mountain today for some good powder. 42 inches in last 24h. Couldn’t ask for better conditions


If gme could go up every time I go to the mountain I think I can make this work out for all of us. I’ll have to test with another weekday once I get back to Phoenix and make a trip up to flagstaff. Have to leave reno for break soon

Exactly. When I sell 20K at $10 I've still got 60K shares to feed to the primes when they decide $50 is fine by them. lol
