I do agree. Any yota is a good choice. But damn I hate parting with the pyrite mica. It is absolutely my favorite color. Good news is my son is close to pulling the trigger and buying it from me. Going to let him have a few hours of snuggle time with it the next couple of days. He has been searching for a good deal on a WRX. I get that but he is an electrician working new construction so a truck is ideal. He realizes, after looking at a few, that most sports cars are ragged out at 60k miles compared to any Tacoma with 160k miles.

Well I hosed up. I gave my son the keys to the 2008 blue off road and the 2012 pyrite mica SR5. Remember that the SR5 has 60k more miles than the off road. After a couple of hours driving each one the SOB wants to buy the pyrite mica. The color and the suspension made his decision. I would have given him either one for 15'ish because he needs a good vehicle. But damn he's gonna take my pyrite mica. I can only hope that I find another deal on a pyrite so I can sell the blue one. It says a lot that a 140k mile truck is chosen over an 83k mile truck. I think I will be putting some better shocks on the blue one so it rides better. Freakin kids. The things we do for them.

I wash my poor truck like twice a year, this time i decided to clay bar and wax it.

I dont do it for looks as much as i do it for longevity, so i didnt bother to go somewhere more scenic for a picture lol

Good luck! My topper was originally red, but I sanded it down and repainted it with Pyrite Mica paint. However, I sold it back in March and have since gone with an iKamper tent. So far I've enjoyed 48 nights in this baby!

Thank you! Lots of time and money. Most days I say it's all worth it, some rare days I say... damn that's a lot of money put into a vehicle. But regardless, tons of people always stop me and ask questions. Love it!

Highly recommend them. I only have two complaints: the mattresses are a bit stiff for my liking (I prefer super soft beds) and some mornings if you place the black hard side to the sun, it'll get 80 degrees in the tent about 45 minutes after sunrise. Anyways, well worth the money. Water tight, well made, takes 45 seconds to set up and 2 minutes to put away after some practice.

Crummy pic of mine. Also, anyone save the front bumper trim pieces? I need both sides for mine. Like the fender flare piece that continues on the bumper. Thanks!

    Good-looking truck!
How're you liking those Alpharex headlights? Amazing right? I absolutely love mine. Best investment so far on mine. I can see so much further down the road! Not to mention how well they go with our 2nd gen front ends.
