I'm questioning if this company isn't just taking a Currie housing and doing the build on them. I'm tempted to call, but really don't need to add more to my bill lol.

    No kidding!

Yes. But if you want Toyota ends to retain speed sensors you have to go elsewhere like diamond and then you can go with a 10.5” tundra ring and pinion 3rd member.

They were buying Currie housings and using their own 3rd members and shafts. They had a full float option a few years back but stopped offering it. I am confused why Carl and their team still have this listed on the nitro site… I’ll ask them today We have tried several times and Currie says they aren’t building Toyota stuff right now.

You can order custom rear ends from Currie all day long. Its likely that while they don't produce them for resale on their site that another company can request them to be built. I cant imagine this is on the site if its not available. Though I could be wrong.

Hard pass. I’m sure they are worth every penny for the serious trucks. But yeah….

That’s not bad at all. I would go with an ARB so it would be a little more but for a complete setup that’s justifiable.

Keep in mind I’m not including my labor for the truss, link pivots, caliper mounts and brake lines... if you had to pay me that’s easily another $2500 mig welded and $3500 tig welded

Honestly, I could just buy a housing and do it all myself too. A good friend of mine has all of the 9” setup stuff. I’ve narrowed them and all of that good stuff in the past.
