Billies-Eibachs-TSB yada-yada-yada

Ok sanity check - I have the TSB rear spring packs installed, I have 5100s for the front and back and am now thinking about eibach coils for the front. The billies and coils are yet to be installed. Question is what setting on 5100s in combination with the coils will level with the back end?

I would like to hear from some with 2010 TRD Sport DC, TSB rear Springs, Eibachs and Bilstein 5100s. What have you set the billies at and what is the resulting front to rear attitude?
These are my current measurements: the drivers side rear is 38.25" from the ground to the point on the fender vertical throught the center of the wheel and the drivers side front is 34.75" using the same reference points.

 

i think most people leave the 5100s set at zero when they have eibachs. you are putting to much presure on the coils if you go much higher than the zero setting. I have 5100s and eibachs and i left them at zero.

 

Take some measurements as it sits now and you'll have your answer. No way to tell otherwise.

 

.85 is ok, I think that would make you level. Set at 0 would be a smoother ride and a slight front rake

 

i have the billies and the eibachs unistalled as well. I am planning on going with the .85 on the billies but since i am doing that i will definitely need new UCAs. but i hear the ride is awesome. Most people leave it at zero to level it out.

 

I thought I read that greater than 1.75 would require UCA replacement, have I missed something?

 

Greater than 1.75 MAY need UCA's. There are tons of people running 2.5" on stock UCA's with no issues. Just like the question as to what setting you should run to be level, every truck is different.

 

I have my 5100's set at .85 with the ebiach's. With the TSB in the rear of the truck, the truck will sit almost level with nothing in the bed (bed will be slightly higher).
After you drive it for a couple of weeks or so or put a load in the bed, it will be almost perfectly level.
I think overall, I got about 1.5 in lift in the front.
Then you put on 265-75-16 tires and you get an additional amt. of lift.
My truck sits perfect for what I use it for...hunting, fishing, towing my boat and my jeep. Oh yea, going back and forth to work.

By the way, my truck is an access cab 4x4 SR5.

 

i am gettin ready to do this setup. i'm puttin on the eibachs and leaving the 5100s at 0 with the rear tsb. that should have a slight rake left. on my last tacoma i had 5100s at 1.75 with rear tsb and i hated putting a load in the back and it always being nose high. i wnat a little rake so i can have a slight load and no more nose high.

 

Are the Eibachs comparable to the sport springs (linear) or the OR springs (progressive)?

 

I have 5100's set to 0 with eibach springs. I also had the rear tsb done. This will give you a slight rake, making the rear end a little higher than the front. The ride is great.

Since you're bumping this thread, I'm going to assume you have done your homework now and taken measurements of your truck. What are they?

Ride is perfect for me, mostly used as a daily driver, some mild off roading to get to fishing spots.

Bump!! Have you done anything yet? I'm wanting to do the same thing. I have the TSB done in the rear and have ordered the 5100s for both the front and rear. I am considering ordering the coils as well. Would like to hear some more input.

 

I have the Bilsteins in possession, the Eibach's and Light Racing UCA's should be in the mail. Not sure exactly when I will get to the install as here in NE Ohio the weather sucks. My garage is a woodworking shop so maybe my friend Dan will let me use his garage.

 

I'm not planning on changing the UCAs. Is this something I should consider?

 

I think it really depends on how high you intend to lift the front. If you lift it high enough you won't be able to get you alignment into specs without changing the UCA's.
