I measured from the fender to the top of the tire. I actually dropped the right side to match the left. If I would have raised the right I think it would have made the front taller than the rear.

If you order straight from eibach on the phone ask if they still have the patches. I got mine a few years ago when I put the stage one on my 2008.

I read somewhere that if you call eibach they should send you some sway bar relocation mounts.

The single best modification I have done to the truck so far. I have a bump leaving my neighborhood that used to shake my bones from my toes through my teeth with the stock Sport suspension. Feels like nothing now. Haven’t tested off-road yet, but I’m very pleased that I purchased the Eibach Stage 2 suspension kit.

I was heavily debating this set and TRD PRO Fox take-offs. I called around to nearly every shop within a 100 mile radius and no one rebuilds Fox shocks here. That was ultimately the deciding factor for me, and I think I made the right decision.

All lighting are led, wheels, tires, 5100 lift, pro grill, bed light, seat covers, door sill protectors.
Yes ground up to the fender flares.

Definitely recommend the stage 2 for adjustability, for trd pro suspension and the price they hold, I don't think their worth the price especially for being none adjustable, especially if you wanna add weight. Having a full adjustable coilover honestly easier to work with and cheaper imo. And if anything, once the stage 2 settles in, it rides as good as the trd pro suspension.

Thanks. I was just second guessing myself right before I installed the kit. I actually just put the Eibach stage 2 kit on (in the post right above yours lol).

easy install however adjusting with the provided spanner wrench is tough even with lots of lube and the wheels hanging in the air, ride is a bit stiffer then what I'm use to but keep in mind I had OME 885 coils on my 5100s, and those are simply to soft and the wrong coils for 3rd gen tacomas, I set it up so I'm at 2 inches over my original stock height in the front and it looks great, I'm sure the ride will get a little smoother with settling and also when I add the SSO bumper, 250 miles on them so far

Got my kit on this past Saturday… super easy to install. Only problem we had was while replacing the UCA’s. The driver side through bolt was a bit of a pain in the ass due to the ribbing under the battery tray around the pinch weld. I left the factory spanner collar settings where they were. I was told it was set to give 2” of lift. I also installed 1/4” HS spacers. I wanted to get around 2.5” of lift total, but did not want to compress the springs any more and sacrifice ride quality. Paired the front with Eibach’s rear shocks and Supreme Suspension’s 1.5” billet aluminum blocks. I know, I know, should have done a leaf-pack, but it’s mostly a pavement queen that may see the occasional fire trail… so this’ll do for my application for now. And just to be safe, I added a set of Camburg UCA’s.

I gained more than I was expecting… in the front (measuring from the ground to bottom of fender) I gained roughly 3.75”!! Now this has yet to “settle” and is way more than I was expecting! As for the rear (same measuring as front) I gained 2.5”!! Again, a lot more than I was expecting and hoping over next month or so it settles down a bit.

I am having a somewhat major concern though… my CV boot angles. Again, I got a lot more lift than I was expecting and now my fins on boots are touching. I have been looking into hi-angle CV boots to fix this problem… but before I go yanking the axles out and doing all this again, I think I’m going to try the “boot slide” method. Seems like a lot of members on here have had great results with this mod and I’m looking to get the same results.

I'm not sure how you could have got that much lift. Are yiu sure everything is assembled correctly? Correct part numbers from Eibach?

All part numbers are correct. As you can see via the pictures, the spanner collar is just about in the middle of the threads. Kind of hard to assemble it incorrectly when it comes pre assembled. Like I said, I did add the HeadStrong 1/4” top spacers, but that should only have added an additional 1/2” of lift. I only have driven it about 75 miles since the install and it has been extremely cold here in MD… so maybe with the temp making springs stiff and the lack of drive time, it isn’t had a chance to settle as much as I would like. I measured the front and rear about an hour ago… the rear has not moved and the front has settled about 1/4” so far. I’m still baffled myself?!?!

I’d probably pop those spacers out and that should drop you 1/2” and let it settle without damaging your boots. With 1/4” spacer on both sides, how are you for taco lean?

Is anyone running these coilovers and 285/70/17 tires without CMC or upgraded UCA's?

A 1/4” top plate spacer is meant for non-adjustable suspensions. It would be wise to remove that and adjust your coilover to 1/4” higher instead. Measuring from the center of your hub to bottom of fender is a more accurate method of determining lift: factory front is 3rd gen height is 21”, so over 23” can be problematic. Do you have a photo of your CV angles and also ball joints?

Just installed 285/70/17, Black Rhino Raids -18 offset. No rubbing anywhere with the coilovers maxed out and stock UCA’s. Going to have to add more lift in the rear to sit level but the ride quality is noticeably different adjusted all the way up. Not bad, just different than before. Worried the cab mount will rub off road so CMC is coming soon.

I’ve read through this entire forum several times, but is there a consensus on if the diff drop is needed with the coil-overs maxed? or is anyone running different CV boots for higher angles? and how do the rear shocks rated for 0-1.5 inches perform for you guys that lifted the rear 2 inches?

Not sure on the other questions. My lift is going in next Saturday. I’ve read that the rears can handle more than 1.5” and the Eibach truck is like 2.75” lift. I’m putting Deaver expedition stag 2 in mine so it’ll probably be 2.5-3” initially.
