    (reposting on 1st gen forum)
Hey all, I’m in college and am unable to work on my truck myself, so I had a shop install a rancho easy lift 1.75”ish strut and coil. I had previously a little larger lift with SPC upper control arms. The shop told me I should stick with these, even though my truck doesn’t have much lift anymore. They have a 3 year warranty so I figured I wouldn’t worry about it, if it became a problem I would take it in again.

I didn’t worry at first, the ride was rough but they were new coils so I wanted to let them settle. After some time though, even running them on a soft setting, the ride is still pretty rough and I am worried the control arm angles may be to blame… is it bad that they don’t have a slight downward angle? Thanks!

That sure doesn't look like 1.75" of lift.

There’s something weird about those upper ball joints. They’re too tall?

They are the SPC ones.. maybe that extra distance between the spindle and UCA is causing it to look less like 1.75" and have the angle...

From someone else with SPCs and about 2" of lift...looks normal to me.

I have the older style tubular arms, yours being the flatter forged style makes it even more pronounced I think.

that's just how the SPC ones be. Maybe something to do with the ability to rotate them to change the angle/caster, not sure.

Pretty good, only drifts cause I haven’t done the roll pin mod yet but I’ll probably do it this weekend

Thanks! Helps me worry less for sure, it’s just weird to see them at that angle. How long have you been running that setup?

5 years now, no issues. I've replaced the bushings and ball joints once in the ~60k miles I've had them. SPCs are great arms. I'll likely be upgrading to the forged version soon

On the right side there is a washer.
Is there a washer in the left of that bushing also?

Nope, just one large flat washer that goes on the outside of each bushing.

These are the older Spec Ride bushings that came with the older style tubular arms, the bushings that come with the version the OP has are the X Axis ones (newer). They may be different, not sure.
